Delete custom labels in iOS7?

right on! i am having the SAME issue too! any suggestions?! in IOS 7, it seems the EDIT botton disappeared!

My obsessive-compulsive tendencies are slaughtering me right now. I hope this is fixed.

I also have the same problem. Lord knows it isn't the biggest deal, but all the same it's bugging me.

I can understand that the new design made it less obvious to include, but this is NOT a feature I want to live without.

Yes, my custom labels are piling up, and I'd like to delete the ones I no longer use. Please include a feature to delete custon labels.

I'm super OCD. Wasn't going to sleep until I found a resolution. Found a way to get it done until Apple fixes this.

Download the app magic jack talk free. Here you are able to edit contacts/ custom labels as in older ios versions.

Simply delete them there and voila! They will be gone from your custom labels.

And of course you can delete the app afterwards.

Yeah, Drea9388's solution works.

Download the app, allow it access to your contacts, and go to contacts in the app. It acts as an older version of ios, so from there you can edit/delete custom labels. Then just delete the app when your done.
