Updated to iOS 7 but can't agree to new terms and conditions for iCloud, says it wont connect to server? what does this mean? what do i do?!

I updated the new iOS 7 on my iPhone 4s, i had changed my icloud and apple id a couple months ago, but to change anything on the iCloud settings you have to accept the terms and conditions (new) but everytime i try to it says "cannot connect to server" or something along those lines. is it just my phone? what should i do? someone help!

This worked 100% for me.

First I turned off icloud in Facetime and iMessenger, no idea if that is required but did it anyway. Then go to https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/ and hit Create an Apple ID and set up a new and seperate Apple ID using your old log in email and your current password to make it easy. Do all the steps and fill in the boring form with a current email and verify when they send you the link. Switch you iPhone off and on again. You can now log off your old iCloud account, delete the profile on your iPhone iCloud and reset with your current one.

I found no way of deleting this extra iCloud profile but hey its Apples fault and I wont be using that icloud account anyway. Just stick to your current one and forget it. Cheers and good luck.

This happened to me on my iPad. I solved it by shutting down the Find Friends app (double tap the Home button and then swipe up the app's window until it disappears) and then relaunching it; when I did that, I had to log back in and then the terms and conditions page appeared directly within the app and the 'Agree' option was now available. See if it works for you, I hope so.

I had the same problem, and it was only after trying all the other things in this thread that I realized what my problem was. If none of those have worked so far, try this:

Go to Settings,

then go to General,

then go to Restrictions and make sure restrictions are turned OFF. Once you do this, you can go back to the main Settings menu and select iCloud and then there should be a button saying there are new Terms and Conditions to accept. After you accept them you can go back and turn the Restrictions on again if that's your security preference, but until you do that your phone won't let you make ANY changes to iCloud, including see and accept the new Terms.

None of these things work for me, I'm so stuck!

I updated to iOS7 this afternoon, before doing so I backed everything up and cleared off a bunch of photo's so I had space. Everything had been working fine.

A few months ago I'd updated my apple ID to my new email address and it had worked fine. Now, my old email is my Apple ID and it won't let me rest it (my DOB is apparently wrong and there is no email address it's now connected to). My iTunes is connected to the correct account but the iCloud ID is still the wrong one.

I've tried the 'find my friends' app and it gave me new T&C's but still, the old apple ID

I've tried the restrictions, but that didn't work either

I can't restore the phone until 'find my iPhone' is off, but I can't log in to do that

IT'S LIKE A TERRIBLE CYCLE OF STUPIDNESS

Can anyone suggest anything before I thrrow this stupid phone at the wall??

This... I tried other suggestions like logging into Find my Friends or Find My iPhone and none worked. I finally deleted the iCloud account from the phone and then set it back up again. Bingo, worked and was never asked to agree to terms thus avoiding the infinite loop of being asked to agree, yet system saying server is unavailable.

I would suggest deleting your iCloud account from your phone first and then setting it back up again.

Downloaded this to my 4s have research every thread that involved this problem and followed every ones advice to the letter and am still having this problem...all I wanna do is download an app but apple has made it to where you gotta have a freakin act of congress to do so!!!! coming from an EX app developers opinion as thorough as they are about the perfection of the apps that are submitted they really half assed the development of this software

I AM NOT IMPRESSED

I wound up trying the find my friends app workaround with no success.

Eventually I wound up shutting down my phone.

NOT powering down my phone. That is, I didn't go to the "power down" option with the red slider.

I restarted the phone, and when I did, it asked me to sign into icloud. Once I did that, it didn't ask me for terms and conditions any more, and everything seems to be working fine.

Have the same problem as everyone else on this thread with my iPhone 4, tried everything but no success. Your idea sounds good to me as Restrictions are turned Off on my iPad which updated seamlessly. On the phone they are On, but I now can't turn them off as I do not have a Restrictions code. I don't remember ever setting one up but I suppose I must have. I have tried my normal passcode and a few other numbers with no success and have 8 failed attempts and getting nervous. Are you able to tell me if there is a limit to how many failed attempts i can have without causing more problems? Apart from iCloud the phone is happy that it is me, I can buy stuff on iTunes for example but can't access any iCloud functions. I can't turn find my iPhone off and therefore can not restore the backup I made before moving to 7. The irritating thing is although I can't turn find my iPhone off, I can't see it from my iPad because iCloud isn't working because I can't agree to the terms. Hoping that apple will release a fix.
