Q: Updated to iOS 7 but can't agree to new terms and conditions for iCloud, says it wont connect to server? what does this mean? what do i do?!

I updated the new iOS 7 on my iPhone 4s, i had changed my icloud and apple id a couple months ago, but to change anything on the iCloud settings you have to accept the terms and conditions (new) but everytime i try to it says "cannot connect to server" or something along those lines. is it just my phone? what should i do? someone help!

    This worked 100% for me.

First I turned off icloud in Facetime and iMessenger, no idea if that is required but did it anyway. Then go to https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/ and hit Create an Apple ID and set up a new and seperate Apple ID using your old log in email and your current password to make it easy. Do all the steps and fill in the boring form with a current email and verify when they send you the link. Switch you iPhone off and on again. You can now log off your old iCloud account, delete the profile on your iPhone iCloud and reset with your current one.

I found no way of deleting this extra iCloud profile but hey its Apples fault and I wont be using that icloud account anyway. Just stick to your current one and forget it. Cheers and good luck.

Enabling Safari cookies also worked for me. It also solved the problem of instagram app not loading properly. Thanks for the help.

New to this problem. Read all the suggetions but cant still agree to the terms & conditions. Even tapping throught 60 pages one-at-the time does not give me an AGREE button. Send by mail does not work either.

TIme to toss the iphone and go to google or windows phone I guess.

Tried the various solutions: deleting icloud account, accepting all cookies, etc and still could not get to Accept T&C.  However after making these changes, rebooting the iPhone, the Agree button finally showed up when I went to update applications.  [When all else fails - reboot]

Order of operations for my icantacceptT&C_Phone:

    1) Go to Settings / iCloud and delete, then re-add iCloud account

    2) Settings / Safari / cookies - Block Cookies - change to never

    3) reboot your iPhone

    4) try to go to the App Store to update applications or somewhere you need updates and it should bring up the terms and conditions with the Agree option.

Don't forget to change your Block cookies back to Always if that is what you prefer.

If I didn't have the iPhone for work, I would not buy one.  Prefer my personal Galaxy S4 for many reasons, but so far have not run into software issues like this yet.  So I am waiting for these kinds of issues on the S4 side to show up as I have only had it for 4 months and they have not done a major OS update yet.

    Good luck to all.

Yes, there was no issue rotating the screen.  The issue was that the Accept Terms and conditions would never appear until I did the actions I posted.

A hard restart (hold down both power switches) worked for me. When I started it up again, it asked me to sign into iCloud. Problem solved.

daveb1007 solution worked... the key is to just delete your account on your iphone... probably the other stuff as well reboot as stated and sign back into icloud creating an phone data base? which you already had...

Thanks apple... hope that new doughnut office complex isnt signalling your slow death slide.
