My Iphone will not be recognized in ITunes though he is in Iphoto. The remark on the apple support is to update te ITunes but I can't... I receive the message that I need to have OS X 10.5 and I'm still on 10.4.11? What am I supposed to do now?

Hi

Is there someone who can help?

I'm struggling to connect to I Tunes on my MacBook. I'm on OS X 10.4.11 and I'm receiving the message that for installing the latest version of ITunes I'm supposed to have the 10.5 or more recent

But I'm just a new Apple user and I can't seem to get the version update througt Software Update. Am I doing something wrong or is it an impossible step to make?

Thanks for your advice.

To update iTunes and sync an iPhone you need to be running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 on an Intel Mac.

Start by checking if you can run Snow Leopard:

The OS 10.6 Snow Leopard install DVD is available for $19.99 from the Apple Store:
