Stuck at "Connect to iTunes" (error 4005)

Hey there!

I'm just quite tensed right now because I had downloaded iOS 7 through iTunes (Latest) and then hit the "Update" button, and then I could see the "Connect to iTunes" logo on my iPhone 5 and the message on iTunes read "updating iPhone" .... and that took about 5 minutes and after that I got an error "Cannot update the iPhone. Unknown error occurred (4005)" .... and since then my phone is stuck at the connect to to itunes sign ... I tried to hard reset it or take it to the recovery mode (Power + Home, release Power keep Home pressed), but nothing is happening... HELPP PEOPLE!!! User uploaded file

Prodijy.. thank you for that .... i have been at it for days now and my iphone 6 plus always hangs with nothing on the screen. itunes reads waiting for iphone for hours. tried exiting recovery mode by holding them buttons so many times,.. nothing worked. i was losing hope and going to forget about it and get a new one.. but one last time just wanted to try it out by searching articles here.. your solution to changing the usb ports did the magic. all my usb ports are usb3, so took your advice and tried my sons pc in usb 2. i started hitting myself for all that trouble i went through and not able to fix it. but with your advice am up and running.. thanks for this advice.. very very helpful... just replying to your answers so others can try it as well.. thank you
