Can't scale pictures since ios7 update

Same thing here... I just posted about this in another thread. I'm using an iPad 3 with now IOS 7.

You can only zoom in, can't zoom out.

I'm having this issue also.

Same problem here. Can make bigger but can't make smaller. I know it isn't the pic I'm using either because the last background pic was the same size. Everything is so slow and lagging now too. Must be all the new stuff. Hope they fix soon!

Just to chime in, I have the same problem. Also, it is really slow if I try to pinch and zoom. Overall I think the iOS is a little on the sluggish side. I have only been using ios7 for about one hour maybe it will get better over time. I am using an ipad3.

Same issue here. I ended up turning on the motion control on my ipad just to make the same background that worked in ios 6 work in ios 7. Very frustrating!!!

Yeah, same problem here with the scaling. Oh the great and powerful Apple, you would think they would have this nonsense working before they release it, I guess it justifies job creation.

Or maybe they were forced from the powers of Apple to push out the update knowing there was bugs, convenient timing before the holidays kick off!

I just sent in a feedback message to apple about this issue. it is very annoying that i cant resize my pictures that i want to put as my wallpapers. also the devices are so slow when you try to move an image

After hours of playing around with lots of trail and error I have a workaround.

I tried the turning off of the "reduce motion" option and that only made things worse. I was able to make the images smaller on the lock screen with this turned on.

I tried adding pixels to the image and that had zero effect.

In the end, I followed the advice of another poster on a different thread and downloaded InstaSize (iphone app). After I wrote my contact info on the picture with DoodleBuddy I opened the picture in InstaSize and reduced the image overall. Once that was done I shared it with the gallery, which saved it to the camera roll. From here I was able to set the picture as the lock screen image. It took a few tries to get the correct size in InstaSize, but it works!

I'm so not impressed with ios 7. Everything is harder to read, navigate, and it seems fluff takes up more space on the screen. The contrasting colors they picked for text to background are harder to read, especially on the fly. The text messages are annoying looking. I turned on the bold text just to read the app names! Grrr to Apple, I was so excited until I actually got to look at it myself.

You can use the instasize app that is on the AppStore and u have to resize your pic tu a smaller version so now you can scale it on your background. Hope this help

Same problem here... i'm using Ipad 4-ios7... cannot resize and move photos as i want and now these pictures become huge...

it's very very annoyed me!!!!!

I am facing the same issue... and I am not able to scale the pic for the wallpaper on my iphone.. This is a bug and should be fixed asap. I would consider it to be a very basic feature.. A bit disappointed with this update...
