Ever since I upgrade to ios 7 on my ipad I cant get the wallpaper to scale right. It automatically zooms in and you cant zoom out. Anyone else got this issue?
Same. It's laggy as well. I played with the dynamic wallpaper and now can't make my custom image to scale the way it was.
I am having the exact same issue on my iPad 3rd Generation. I resolved the issue on my iPhone 5 by turning off the parallax feature, but this did nothing to resolve the issue on my iPad. Frustrated...
Yeah, it's something that Apple have to sort out.. It's an unnecessary pain..
Yip - I have it too. Incredibly frustrating. Not impressed with iOS 7 - which I hadn't updated my iPad. It's slower and less responsive :-(
I am having the same issue. Boo. I am sure there will be several of these weird things that apple will have to sort out. Does anyone know what the actual scale of the wallpaper needs to be so I can change the wallpaper size and resend it to myself?

Do what the man says & fix the bloody wallpapers, make bottom bar adjustable or transparent to begin with and for gods sake what's with the newsstand - can't close it.. (iPad mini)

Not to be all negative, there are quite a few positive improvements in the iOS7. Having said that I sure do hope it works smoothly with the 5s!
I have the same problem and searched net for hours to see if this was a error, Would help if bugs are logged somewhere.
Also the panoramic feature that is all over the new doees not work and appears to have been removed from beta launch to main launch.
Can we have a list of ios 7.01 fixes urgently so we dont waste hours trying to make things work.

Just add my name to the list! Had a photo that I had taken with my iPad mini that I was using as wallpaper. That photo now is zoomed in, and I can't scale it or move it. What's worse, after locking and unlocking my iPad a few times, is that the image gets progressively worse as it start to increasingly show up as zoomed in.
This needs to be fixed.
Yeah, same here, ipad5 & iphone 5 now with IOS7,. but no way to get the background pictures scaled to a normal view which i want,..

I have the same quirk with ipad 3. I used to be able to shrink/zoom in and move around the image, now I can't do that anymore.
Turning on accessibility reduce movement does not work with scaling wallpaper. Resize and scale an image for a wallpaper is very noticeably laggy with a high resolution photo!
Same problem for me on both iPhone 5 and iPad second generation. Hopefully it gets fixed soon as it is extremely annoying.
I am having the same issue as well. I hope Apple will look into this.
I'm not convinced this is a glitch, but instead is entirely on purpose to work with the useless parallax desktop feature.
In which case, I urge everyone to submit feedback on it, and ask (polietely) that we get regular scaling back. There's no reason with "reduce motion" on, we shouldn't be able to set our backgrounds to the way we'd like.
