How to reject an incoming phone call on iOS 7?
I just noticed there's no option to reject an incoming call on iOS7. I just installed iOS7 on my iPhone 5 and now wondering where's this feature ? 😟

Same here. It's uncomfortable many times when can't reject an unwanted call.
I don't understand why you can't. Double tapping the power button does it quite effectively. The original poster seemed to have resolved their problem this way. If you're having a problem whey your power button, you should get that resolved.
Best of luck.

I don't get the power button when the phone rings, instead I am getting the green accept button only. The service centre also could not resolve the issue. SIC
The power button is a hardware button on the top of your phone. It is always there.
Agreed, the power button is always there. What I am noticing is when I receive a call, sometimes I get the option to reject the call while the rest of the times I see only accept green colour button.

My point is that you can always reject the call if you want to.
You can press the lock button (button on top).
Press once to silence ring but will still vibrate and to caller will keep ringing until goes to voice mail.
Press TWICE to silence ring and ignore call fully and to drop caller direct to voice mail.
I guess it's a bug in the ios7 software. There is no reject option in the locked screen however, We do get the reject icon/option in home screen.
This was not an issue in ios 6.1.4 as we had the call reject option on both the screens( home & locked).
I assume we will receive an update but am just wondering how this basic feature wasn't tested before release. Apple should not afford to do such mistakes. Steve jobs took care of the minutest possible requirements. We miss him :(
Hey man. you are right. I just tested this feature and it's as you mentioned. Yes, we are missing steve jobs but no one can last forever.
Well said dar..same issue with me..
It is better to post this in feedback to get better results.

That's the method I've always used. It's so much easier for me.
I agree meg. However i get decline button sometimes and sometimes doesn't.. So i feel its a bug.
Submit feedback. I'm sure it will get cleaned up. Meanwhile, yes, it will confuse a lot of people.
Best of luck.
I faced the same issue as I often need to reject unwanted calls... and could not do it with the Decline button.. This is again a very basic regression and wonder how did iget missed? Was it intentional? If yes, they should have gven the alternative (i.e. pressing the lock button twice to reject calls ) in the new feature list.. Not very happy with this update.. 😟
you can press the remind me button, it will reject the call and will remind u later in the notifcation screen
Hi Jai, But that doesnt send the reject tone to caller. Other side still gets the ring tone beeping.
i tried it, it sends the reject tone to the caller, but i still think they should just have a reject call option.
