How to reject an incoming phone call on iOS 7?

On the lock screen we have two options, 'Remind Me' and 'Message'. Remind me will reject the call and Remind you in the call notofication area no message is sent to the caller. where as Message gives you the options of rejecting the call with a proper message to the caller.

I get decline button sometimes and sometimes doesn't for an incoming voice call ...

Double click the power button, top right of phone x

i discovered an interesting solution and not sure that works for everyone but u may try this :

open settings

then open sound

if it is checked uncheck the option "vibrate on ring"

then call your number from any other phone

voilaaa !! there is a reject button

then if you want check again "vibrate on ring" option

reject button remains in incoming call screen

you can also do it with any ringtone

i mean same method and choose any other ringtone

I dont thing you get the problem .... the problem is that when the Iphone is locked and someone calles you there is no decline button if its not locked there is with or without vibrate with every ring tone....

During the past days many friends have asked why there is no Decline option. I suggested them to reject calls by double clicking on Power Button. Decline option sometimes appears, and yesterday I found out that when the phone is not locked this option does not appear, but appeared when the phone is unlocked.

Till iOS 7, the past iOS' had an option to reject an incoming call (by swiping up) when the iPhone is locked. And there would not be a reminder to the missed calls except the display in 'Notification Center'. This was a point of concern raised by several users, to include default remainder when a call is rejected.

From iOS7, by design, 'Remind Me' functionality replaces 'Reject' when a locked iPhone gets an incoming call. 'Remind Me' acts as 'Reject' + 'Reminder'. It first rejects the call and adds a reminder to call the appropriate recepient.

However, there would be a 'Reject' button when there is an incoming call while the iPhone is not locked. The idea is simple here. An iPhone that's not locked is in use by the user and the user cannot accidentally click anything. Hence when someone intentionally tries to reject, they can touch the 'Reject' button. Alternatively 'Remind Me' holds good too.

This would not be comfortable for those who gets annoying calls from unknown numbers, however this feature makes a lot of sense for those who intentionally rejects valid calls.

I don't see Apple engineers would work a fix on this as claimed by many here.

I also don't think if Jobs is alive, he would had a say in it. Quite funny when Steve Jobs' death is felt for missing functionalities.
