Any way to turn off iOS 7 navigation animations?

The zoom animations everywhere on the new iOS 7 are literally making me nauseous and giving me a headache. It's exactly how I used to get car sick if I tried to read in the car.

How do I turn them off? Do I have to revert to 6?

I really hope Apple takes note. Whatever new thing they did with animations is making me dizzy and I'm seriously thinking of trading in my phone because it's just unusable now. I didn't have a problem with ios 6, in fact I barely noticed the animations there, but this zooming in and out is making me carsick. Apple, please fix this soon! I don't want to give up my iPhone if I don't have to!

Yep they dont monitor these forums, and they don't provide any response to feedback. Makes you really wonder if they are listening to anything. IOS 7 was beta tested by developers and such for several months and we ended up with these nauseating animations. Does anyone really think they will add an option to disable them?

The unfortunate thing, based on past experience submitting "feedback," is that I don't think they will acknowledge the nausea inducing problems in iOS 7, let alone fix it...

I will continue to use iOS 6 as long as I can, but am grudgingly gearing up to the idea that I may be switching phone brands.

apple does indeed actively monitor these forums. i know this as a fact since i have been contacted by them regarding an issue i posted here. they just have a policy of NEVER answering anything here in public, so do not expect that to happen. i do of course think that this is a wrong approach by apple, one they will have to change if they want to be perceived as customer oriented. kind of a logical conclusion you should think.

I've experienced nausea and motion sickness and headaches since last week when I installed IOS 7, all due to the apps zooming in and out animation.

I had zero problems with IOS 6.

I think the best thing to do is keep posting on different forums to raise awareness. I think there's some people who may feel a little of the nauseous and dizzy symptoms, but they're not sure what's causing it.

Also, everyone, please send a quick email to the Apple Accessibility Group. I believe this is the best way to get in touch with the folks at Apple who can best address this issue. It is as simple as an enable/disable animation option with the Accessiblity menu.

My ONLY solution this past week, is to look away or close my eyes when unlocking and opening/closing apps.

Please send an email and keep your fingers crossed for a quick fix! 🙂
