Q: Any way to turn off iOS 7 navigation animations?

The zoom animations everywhere on the new iOS 7 are literally making me nauseous and giving me a headache.  It's exactly how I used to get car sick if I tried to read in the car.

How do I turn them off?  Do I have to revert to 6?

I guess apple could always patent whatever it is that is affecting 30% of the population and sell it to the government...

Piorou

I am a strong supporter of Apple and pretty much any *nix system, but I too have been getting headaches using IOS7. I have had migraines in the past, but it seems as if some visual change they made is possibly a trigger for my migraines. I havent had a migraine for months and pretty much had them under control, but when I am actively using IOS7 I now have had multiple migraines since I did the update.

Same here, I have never had a device or anything cause something like this. Also, I have never before suffered motion sickness, but this has done it to me. Heck I regularly read while traveling and have been on many planes and ships, and had no ill effects. I do periodically suffer from migraines, but pretty much had them under control until I did this update.

I think it is the colors as well. I have the most issues when I open the new Newsstand app, Safari, or Music... I feel like vomiting when I stare at the background.

+1 for me too. After dowloading ios 7 I started feeling queasy and dizzy to the point where I went to the doctor thinking I had a stomach bug. Turns out, as soon as I stopped using my phone for a few hours the horrible feeling immediately went away. My phone now is basically unusable unless I want to be sick the rest of the day. I've tried everything to reduce the effect and spent hours on the phone and in the store with Apple and they say that there is nothing they can do. The best one of the Apple Care providers could do was tell me to use a "third party source" aka a hacker, but even they can't help. Please make an option to turn off these effects Apple or downgrade to ios 6!

I just hope they do not go the route, "they will get used to it." Something has to be done about this constant zooming.

I also totally agree that Apple really need to provide us with an option to disable these animations. They make my phone feel slower than it's supposed to!

Please Apple! Add an option to disable the folder animations the next update, thanks!
