Q: Any way to turn off iOS 7 navigation animations?

The zoom animations everywhere on the new iOS 7 are literally making me nauseous and giving me a headache.  It's exactly how I used to get car sick if I tried to read in the car.

How do I turn them off?  Do I have to revert to 6?

Same problem here just got my new I phone 5s and started having daily headache and nausea. I think it is worse on new hardware. I had Iphone 5 with ios 7 and it was bad but not as bad as it is now. I am seriously considering either getting old phone with ios 6 or switch to Andorid. Apple please do something about it.

This is one of the worst "feature" of iOS7. Luckily, I don't feel sick because of zooming, but I consider that whole system is over-animated. Zooming is too heavy, too slow and really annoying. It slows down common usage of the device: turn-on, unlock, run app, close app, run another app. The situation on iPad is even worse - bigger screen, bigger animations, bigger annoyance.

I am having the same problem and beginning to hate my iPhone 4S. I get the motion sickness the worst when opening it closing apps. It's the zoom in and zoom out animations, if they could turn that off and allow you to choose the "classic" iPhone look vs the new one it would help people who suffer from motion sickness. I can't even see 3D movies because it affects me badly, and had I realized the new update would be like a futuristic experience I would've never updated it. I do not want to be forced to get an android but if there's no resolution to this animation and turning it off I will be forced to go with the competition. This was bad apple! Very bad! All you need is an option to turn it off! Patently waiting for a fix but I'm not sure how much longer I can wait :(

I must add I have turned diff the parallax and did the bold font and the contrast but the zoom animations is the worst! All we need is an option to turn it off or to give us the classic view back for the ones that suffer from motion sickness.

I too get nauseous when I use the phone.  It does take a little while but but I have never had this issue before. I may end up switching to another phone if Apple can't somehow further reduce the motion (zooming in and out).

This iOS7 is a Mickey Mouse interface..... Apple is going the way of Win 8.  Fonts are too small and rectilinear, and subject to visual chromatic aberration.  Depending on the background color, they are unreadable.

Having tried my son'e Galaxy last week, Saturday 28th I ordered a new AT&T Samsung Galaxy 4, to be delivered Oct. 5th....  The only solution, simple..., and larger screen, has an SD card, user accessible battery, and easy to change SIM card when travelling (roaming) overseas!  Life is good <g>.

Sick? Really? You have got to be kidding.

How how do you get sick in a split second?

This is stupid. I love the zooming, give us more.

I have the same thing happening to me!!! I am so upset that there isn't any going back to IOS 6.

I feel as though I took my Maserati in for a tune up and was handed back a ghetto, unsophisticated eye sore.

The iPhone now lacks elegance and respect to our optical nerves! Why all the white screens everywhere? The Calender is destroyed and the keyboard is too tall in size with unnecessarily thin font. The new features are cute, but who cares when using my phone makes me sick?!! Come on Apple. Be Apple and not something you're not.

I wrote about this problem here- http://www.lostinmobile.com/home/yes-ios-7-makes-me-dizzy-it-really-does.html

So easy to mock people for having a specific health problem if you do not. This is a genuine problem for some people.

The iOS 7 colors are just blaring into my eyes. Why so much white space, bright and florecent colors?

I like the control center and swipe for back navigation but everything else is cringe worthy. The colors is beyond belief, appaling. Lets start with the icons, i have hidden phone, facetime, message and music app out of my sight, such bright colors. I assume iOS 7 was designed keeping in mind the 5C and young teenagers. The zoom feature is totally unecessary. I want to open an app, I don't want to see an app opening. It is slow and not for power users. I minimized an app and wait until the zoom does his thing. Pathetic. Slows down the whole experience. Also why is it not instant for screen to light up when I press home button when phone is locked ?

Let me speak about the iOS 7 on iPad. The new OS is clearly designed for phone NOT for iPad, I used to use my iPad for - browsing, movies, recipes, notetaking basically everything in my day to day life. Now. I can't, the white and bright colors are just killing my eyes and appaling. Not to mention a zoom navigation on a 9.7 inch screen. Feel so sad, can't turn to it anymore, tried getting used to it but not happening.

Just imagine if Mac OS X became blaring colorful, would you use it for day to day activity. NO. Cringe.

Oh the mighty is on decline.
