Q: Any way to turn off iOS 7 navigation animations?

The zoom animations everywhere on the new iOS 7 are literally making me nauseous and giving me a headache.  It's exactly how I used to get car sick if I tried to read in the car.

How do I turn them off?  Do I have to revert to 6?

not to mention,  your original post helped gain national attention to this matter.  And now it is fixed !  They do listen to their users.

    Well done team.

Thank you so much APPLE! SO greatly that this wonderful company listen to its customers and helps us out who were effected with the issue for so long. So worth not selling the devices and moving over to a different developer!

At last! NO MORE ZOOMING.Thank you Apple for fixing this riduiculous mistake so quickly. I had to look away from my iPhone screen every time I switched it on - otherwise I would feel nauseous from all the movement. Now I can turn the movement off.

Now if Apple would just get rid of those ridiculous clown colours, I would be completely happy.

Jony Ives, what were you thinking? I thought you didn't go for cheap gimmicks like kaleidoscopic colours and unnecessary movements. IOS is not Android!

    Don't install 7.0.3 ...

The animations may be all cute and everything when they don't provoke nausea but they're in no way crucial or important. In other words, you'll get used soon enough to their absence. Try to do without for a week and then reactivate them, and see to what extent you really miss their effect and the extra time they cost ...

    THANKS APPLE

THIS is the way of the modern consumer company: listen, adapt and do it swiftly

Zooming is gone. That's a great start. Now what about all the white screens, font, neon colors and lack of black boarders around content? All of those issues still strain the eye making my iPhone STILL unpleasant to use. So I don't get motion sickness when I use my phone now but I still am getting headaches and eye strain from theses other visual issues. Also calendar still *****.

Me 2.  I like black background which I suppose save some battery.  And I want my square photos back in the phonebook!  But anyway, no zoom and animation is much critical.

Great to see the zooming gone as that was my biggest problem with ios7. However with the lack of contrast in display (as mentioned by darbigwynn) and the less intuitive icons means MY GRANDMA CAN NO LONGER OPERATE THIS DEVICE! To me, that was the biggest selling point of the iphone and ipad. My ipad remains on ios6 and i'll be holding back on downloading maverick. Prior to this I always downloaded apple updates without question. Hopefully I can be won back over

You don't like searing your eyeballs with thin sans serif fonts on a bright white background?

You're making me laugh so hard!!! No! All the white backgrounds, thin font, neon colors and lack of boarders on icons, texts, etc are beating my eyes up! And I have better than excellent vision. Can I have my elegant mature phone back pleeeeeeease Apple? I like the new useful features but all of these visual downfalls have ruined my iPhone.
