Why can't I download iTunes 11.1?

Why can't I download iTunes 11.1?

I don't know if anyone else is having this issue....

I want to download iOS7 for my iPhone- it says download iTunes 11.1 first. When I click that, it says that I am fully up to date w/ iTunes 11.05. This is a brand new iMac, so I know it's not the computer.

Is this a glitch that anyone else is aware of? I don't know what's wrong with it.

edit: sorry, I am finding others w/ the same question...can't delete this now.

iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

i didn't get update through app store or itunes too. i guess you have to go to apple's website to download it!

thanks but that link leads me to iTunes 11.0.5 which i have. i think it must be some kind of error.

that's what other people told me too, but i just click the link and it gives me 11.1 ....

are you using safari? if not, you're going to have to. chrome won't show you 11.1

have to update itunes from apple website. i just did it right now and it worked just fine. currently updating iphone now
