I just updated to iOS7 and all of my icloud stuff got synced. There are several songs and albums I want to delete in the Cloud, even downloaded/paid for iTunes match because it was the suggestion I could see while digging through the discussions. This is the evidence for my question.
Any suggestions on how to permanently delete the songs from your cloud?
If you're trying to delete music from iTunes Match, see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4915. Note: you can't delete if from your purchased list, if that's what you're trying to do.
the only way I've found to get rid of the iCloud songs is to go to Settings > iTunes & App Store > Sign out of my Apple ID. then the iCloud songs disappear.
Pretty easy just go to settings, then click on music, then switch the show all music button to off.
I had this problem too but fixed it. Connect your iPhone to your computer, then open iTunes and go into your iPhone menu, which shows your usage and settings and things like that. Check the box that says "Manually manage music and video". Now you need to click on the tab called "On This iPhone". You should now be able to find any unwanted songs and delete them directly. Sync your iPhone and you should be all set!
if you go to settings-itunes, you'll see both music and video's turned on. turn them both off an the problem should be solved.
