Thanks for the question. I understand you are experiencing audio issues with your iPhone 4s. First, lets make sure the Ring/Silent switch is not toggled, and works properly:

If you have not already done so, try restarting and resetting your iPhone:

If your issue persists, we'll need to isolate it further by completing a software restore with iTunes. Please be sure to backup your iPhone first.
