Hello, I have the same problem.

After upgrade by default it looks like I have some songs on the song list in my iphone that say they are downloadable.

so i went into music and turned the option off "show all music"

most of them went away, except for a couple.

I would like to get rid of them, but they aren't deletable.

I can swipe to delete for most songs except for those ones.... the delete option wont show up for them so i don't know how to get rid of them! havent tried using a computer with itunes yet.

I have the same problem. The first song was from a selection from my songs in the iCloud. I down loaded the entire album but can not delete the one song, only the other nine. Swiping only selects the song and I never see the delete. I then played some music from iRadio. Two of the songs that played were from the same album that I had in iCloud and these were then added to my music. I can not delete these either. I turned "show all music" off as suggested and still the last two were added to my music and I can not delete them.

Looks like a lot of people have this problem... kinda glad to know I'm not the only one who's so frusturated.

All of the suggestions so far work for some of the songs but not all of them. Swiping right to left, turning off "show all music" work for most of the songs but not all of them. For me, the ones I can't delete are the songs that showed up by themselves after the iOS update and have a cloud symbol by them. I was trying to delete them and played two by mistake... now I can't delete the ones I played by mistake. The other ones disappeared after turning off "show all music."

I've looked around online for the past hour and no one has a solution for this... everything thinks that swiping right to left or turning off "show all music" will resolve the problem... it doesn't! Help!!!

i think i stumbled onto a solution.

the upgrade to os7 brought a bunch of music into my phone i didn't care to hear anymore.

(free downloads from the itunes twitter feed..some of them are good, most of them i normally delete immediately)

i had 3 pesky songs that would not allow me to delete.

every other song in my library gave me the option to delete, just not the ones i never wanted to hear again.

..super frustrating when the song keeps starting over everytime you touch it while scrambling for a delete option.

they were purchases which i'd hidden.

i plugged to computer and tried to use iTunes to delete but they did not appear.

all "show all" options for music and video were off.

itunes match was off.

all automatic downloads were off.

"show all music" was off.

i logged out of my apple ID for several minutes.

i think this may have given time for my account to resynchronize the items i didn't want to see anymore.

i've logged back in and they're still gone.

i don't care if i hear a new eric clapton song again for the rest of the year thank you.

I got itttt. You have to turn on the "show all music" then download the songs that are stuck there when you turn "show all music" off and after they are downloaded you can delete them because while there there because of iCloud they aren't technically there it's a glitch so after you download it, it is actually there so you can delete it (after you download the songs that are stuck you can turn off "show all music")

Thanks DallasFan6! Finally, someone with the answer!

Again, here are the steps:

1. Turn ON "show all music"

2. Download the songs that you couldn't delete by clicking on the cloud icon next to the song name

3. Turn OFF "show all music"

4. Swipe right to left on the song

5. Hit delete

Very unintuitive. Could this be any more complicated?

Now, does anyone know how to change the tags on the songs? Specifically, I'd like to manually enter/change text for each of the properties (ie, artist, song, album) shown in each of the columns. Any way to do this on the iPad or iPhone?

So is this a glitch or something? I have never used icloud so none of my music is on icloud.

While i understand how to follow the steps above this does not explain why i have these songs stuck here in the first place and if i were to turn off "show all music" (which does hide my unwanted songs) where and why are these songs stored on my phone.

I'm a little old fashioned and i manually add all albums and songs onto my phone. I never automatically sync and i have never used icloud. I'm afraid if i download these songs they will go somewhere i do not want them and i won't even know about it.

Can anybody share a piece of mind. Please.

Thank you.
