Will I lose existing music when downloading itunes 11?
If I download Itunes 11.1 from the apple website, will I lose all my existing music?

Hello Haley,
Thank you for your question. Updating your iTunes or reinstalling iTunes will not affect the music you have stored in iTunes. The iTunes application and your iTunes media files are stored in two different locations so that you can reinstall iTunes without losing any media.
