why won't my new airport extreme connect to all of my devices

My new airport extreme doesn't seem to know my ipod 5 after I updated it to ios 7 and my son's pc also cannot be recognized. The pc was working until I wirelessly connected to the Mac laptop and then the laptop started working and the pc stopped. What now?
