SergZak you are so correct I did mean Mavericks and not Mustang. I also meant 10.9 and not 10.8 (Mountain Lion) - Thanks for the catch. Now for the question is there some way to change the background colors on some of these apps. The White/light Gray in the Safari page isn't a turn on and there are a couple of Apps in Mavericks that changing the background pane will enhance. One day someone is going to make operating system changes and leave the Human Interface unchanged except for ICON adds and deletes. There should be a way of altering the background splash page making the color more acceptable. That's a question ...

I get really bad eye strain and headaches with iOS 7 on iPad 3, iPhone 4S, and iPhone 5.

I was able to restore my iPhone 5 to 6.1.4 during the iOS 7 beta period. I'm not sure if it will work now. No more issues now that I'm back on iOS 6.

Search twitter for 'ios 7 eyes hurt' and you'll see that a lot of people are suffering as well.

If this affects you please let Apple know by calling 1-800-MY-IPHONE (1-800-694-7466) or sending a message at http://www.apple.com/feedback.

Surface aesthetics are only about 10% of the new IOS7, the remaining 90% are upgrades for APP infrastructure which will support expansive APPs and capacities unrealized in the former IOS.

Consider the 90% in light of the 10% aesthetic you're not used to seeing. 😊

....its like taking an older car and repainting it a new color, but throwing in a far more powerful engine, and faster tires and supercharger.

While a few may invariably stand back and say "Ehh, I dont like the new color"

......the technologists will open the hood and proclaim "My goodness, look at that engine and manifold, this is one fine machine" 😍

I suggest considering "whats under the hood" when it comes to the new IOS7 if you're not yet used to the updated "paint job" 😁
