Oct 22, 2013 3:23 PM in response to yax412by patrickhammer, this is really annoying, with 7.0.3 it still does not sync music to my iPhone 5s. why do I pay EUR 899 if in the end one main feature does not work for weeks? also tried fixing disk permissions. nothing works but wiping all music then syncing again and waiting for hours... *sigh*

Oct 22, 2013 4:53 PM in response to yax412by namonai,Yep, after working for a bit, my phone is back to "Waiting for changes to be applied". The disk permission trick didn't work. :-(
Google is coming out with the Nexus 5 sometime this month... maybe it's time to try out the other option.

Oct 23, 2013 4:24 AM in response to slee204488by shanemars,My playlists don't sync properly since iOS 7.0.3 and the latest iTunes that came out with Mavericks. My purchased playlist will sync across fine to the ipad 2 but but some content is missing within some playlists like some of my latest purchase songs are missing in my playlist on my iphone 5. These include smart and my own creating playlists. If i search for them I can find them but they do not show in the playlists.

Oct 23, 2013 4:34 AM in response to yax412by Tuptim97,This is thoroughly ricidulous. Music that has been on my iPhone for ages is now not playing... It plays in iTubnes but not the phone after I updated to iOS 7.0.3. And new music won't sync either. Apple better have a quick fix for this... It is one of the major uses of my iPhone.

Oct 23, 2013 2:54 PM in response to yax412by Riah,I called Apple and eventually we were able to come up with a solution for my problem. No new songs were syncing to my phone. We ended up unchecking all of the songs that I was trying to sync and then I just selected the album I was wanting to transfer over. That seemed to fix it.
It was that or it was us creating a new user on my laptop and then opening itunes with that new user. We then logged back onto my main user account on my laptop and then tried syncing just the album I was wanting on my phone.
Hopefully this will help anyone else that is having troubles.

Oct 23, 2013 4:13 PM in response to yax412by your_boy_los,That did not work for me, nor did creating a new user on my PC.
MRUSHING02 please let us know what you find out. I'm really curious to see if Apple even knows this is going on.

Oct 23, 2013 7:51 PM in response to your_boy_losby hklovers,I am using the method of making a new playlist, add 20 songs per time, then sync......got up to 100 songs, then the sync stuck at "awaiting".........
-
Oct 23, 2013 7:55 PM in response to your_boy_losby Riah,Sorry it didn't work for you. Did you try opening itunes after creating the new user on your PC? The apple support person was going to try to have me try to sync the playlists from the new user account through itunes, but the songs weren't showing up in the itunes library on the other user account. We then went back to my main account and that's when it seemed to fix things.
I don't think Apple does know that anything like this is going on. At least the person I spoke to acted oblivious about it at least, as if hardly anyone else was having a problem like this.

Oct 23, 2013 8:18 PM in response to yax412by msfitz2013,I just got my music to sync after installing new operating system on my mac. I have the latest updates for everything on my iphone5 and my mac. I restarted my mac just to make sure everything was updated. I restored my phone as a backup and this time my music synced. I reiterate, all updates on my mac and phone were installed. I tried a couple of times yesterday before the new itunes popped up and no luck. Today with new itunes, it worked.
Good luck!!

Oct 23, 2013 8:23 PM in response to msfitz2013by Vivstar33,It would be great if this solved the problem, but it still isn't good enough IMO. (Glad it worked for you though).
I use a PC running iTunes, simply because my 200+gb of music doesn't fir on my MacBook. mavericks may solve this issue for many, but won't help the PC people.

This update fixing that with Maverick Update. One's for Windows and the others for Mac. Make sure you uncheck the 32 bit mode as another fix to.
