Oct 24, 2013 6:58 PM in response to yax412by windowlicker567,This is ridiculous, just adding my post. Apple sort this out!!! My ipod touch is an expensive brick at the moment. I cannot sync except the first sync after a restore, simply unbelievable. Tried many of these suggestions and no luck. Am fed up of waiting to restore so for now I'm going back to my old touch 2g hey, at least it still plays music....Come on get your act together

Oct 24, 2013 7:23 PM in response to yax412by djgrendellv,Re: Music not synching up on iPhone after OS7 upgrade
Music File Configuration: My original MP3 files are in D:\My Music. Inside that folder, all musicians have their own folder, and each album has its own subfolder. The MP3's are inside the album folders. This may be configured somewhat differently for each user, but should substanially be the same.
Here is what worked for me. These instructions are for the layperson not too familiar with iTunes.
- Make sure your iPhone is plugged into your PC.
- Start iTunes if it hasn't already started up. My iTunes automatically goes to the Music Category; I'm hoping this is the case with everybody else.
- Select the 1st song from the 1st album shown. In the near top left-hand corner, click Edit --> Select All. All your music has been highighted. Hit the Delete key on your keyboard and confirm that you want to delete all files.*
- Below the Apple symbol in the top center is a line reading, "Songs Albums Artists... [etc]." To the right of that is an iPhone button. Click on that. (If it doesn't appear, your phone didn't sync. Start at Step (1).) Scroll to the bottom and click on the Sync button. At the top of the screen is a progress bar. Wait until it stops. All your music files will be gone on your iPhone.
- At the top left of the screen, click on File --> Add folder to library..., and select the primary folder where your MP3's reside (usually My Music). Wait until the progress bar completes.
- Scroll down and hit the Sync button again. Wait until the progress bar on top completes (depending on how many songs you have, this could take several hours). You should have all your music on your iPhone once more.
* You may need to do the same thing with your Apps, Movies, TV Shows, etc.. Though I never did it, you should be able to follow the same instructions above in perpetuity, i.e., once you've deleted your Music, then delete your Apps, then delete your TV Shows, and continue deleting siad files before continuing to the next step.

Oct 24, 2013 8:56 PM in response to VincentGLeeby djgrendellv,No. I have the latest version.
I assume you work for Apple. So I'd also like to address another issue. It takes 15-30 seconds for any App to load. Why this is I have no idea. IO6 didn't have this issue.

Oct 24, 2013 10:04 PM in response to yax412by Brett Thomas,Okay, this has happened to me twice. iPhone 4S, 7.0.3, iTunes 11
1. Close EVERY app.
2. Turn off passcode.
3. Hard restart (top and home buttons together).
4. Start iTunes.
5. Connect.
6. Sync.
7. Disconnect and restart phone (top button only).
Only after doing Step One has it worked for me, and it's worked both times. There follows a VERY LONG sync as it seems to believe it needs to restore gobs of stuff.

Oct 25, 2013 12:39 AM in response to yax412by Joshes,I had the same issue after updating to 7.0.3. After reading a few solutions on here, the one where you uncheck Sync Music removing all songs from my iPhone, disconnecting it and then reconnecting and checking Sync music again. It restored my music.

Oct 25, 2013 2:47 AM in response to slee204488by AndyCz,Smart Playlists have been broken in some form of another since iOS7 came out.
They work 20% of the time at best for me. Sometimes playlists get copied, sometimes they dont.
