Oct 31, 2013 7:01 AM in response to yax412by Mr Pudd,I solved the problem by uninstalling iTunes, deleting my entire iTunes library plus all other Apple software on my PC.
The iPod Touch goes back to the store this afternoon.

Oct 31, 2013 9:08 AM in response to yax412by Franks11,I'm having the same problem but mostly with tracks i've ripped, but not all of them. It seems to be very random. Do apple follow any of this and have they admitted that there is a problem that they are working on? If so I would hold off trying to recreate all my tracks. Bloody nuisance.

Oct 31, 2013 1:21 PM in response to AirmanNickby pranavaraj,Finally, I solved this problem by deleting few corrupted songs. Now entire music library syncs w/o much ado.
However, finding the corrupted song took me a while.

So I tried everything above, and finally found out what was causing my issue. On your phone go to Music and select More at the bottom. Under the Shared option, make sure your entire music library is selected. My phone only had what I had purchased on my iphone selected, not my entire music library. As soon as i choose Music Library all of my songs magically appeared, without having to sync again.
Just tried to resync after unchecking a few songs on iTunes. It still won't sync but at least my songs are on my phone.
Thank you for sharing this tip. After 3 days wondering around with no music in my phone, today I was able to sync many of my playlist's to my iPhone 5S.

Oct 31, 2013 6:09 PM in response to jdomke1by tinafromdefiance,I have been trying for almost 2 weeks to solve this syncing problem. I tried so many of the suggestions in this thread and some others. I even tried deleting some playlists from my iPhone, and then trying to Sync again in iTunes--thinking that would add the correct ones back in. But then somehow instead it deleted the playlists from iTunes too. So maddening!
I kept checking back here for things I may have missed. I was willing to try anything EXCEPT restore my phone. I just won't do that on principle alone--even if that makes me stupid. Originally I tried to do this Sharing settings thing (from clevergirl929), but 'Sharing' didn't appear in my Music app under 'More.' But I then found and followed your (jdomke1) directions for enabling that. Once I did I tried to Sync again and it worked...FINALLY! My fingers are crossed that everything sticks now. Anyway, thanks for that! I just hope it doesn't go screwy again--whether it's iTunes or the latest iOS. Apple needs to fix it. Nobody should have to restore their phone to fix this kind of thing, in my opinion.
UPDATED: Hmm. Maybe I spoke too soon. My playlists DID sync. I can see them all and they match my iTunes playlists. But when I try to play the songs on my iPhone, nothing happens now. They don't play, no album art shows. Nothing. Guess I knew it was too good to be true.

Oct 31, 2013 6:09 PM in response to tinafromdefianceby BigStar1244,A lot of different advice on this community to try. I worked with Apple Support for two nights and the bottom line was wiping my iPhone 5S and starting over as a "new" iPhone. They also had me download iTunes again. Not sure what the fix really is so far. I cna drag and drop music, but that is not the way I sync'd music in the past. I am not happy with this workaround and wish they would come out and announce an issue with iTunes and that they are working on a fix.

Oct 31, 2013 6:34 PM in response to tinafromdefianceby tinafromdefiance,Yeah, that Shared thing is causing new problems. Enabling it allowed me to finally sync my Playlists, but then when I quit iTunes I can't play anything on my iPhone. I turned iTunes back on (on my PC) and then things worked--a little. SOME songs would play but not all. Turned it back off again and either my songs won't play on my iPhone, or it looks like they're playing but there's no sound, OR, it is skipping through every song on the list but not playing anything. Sigh. I tried putting the Shared thing back to my iPhone instead of my Library--but that makes a bunch of my Playlists disappear again. Something is seriously buggy. I cannot get a new phone right now. And I simply do not want to do a restore--shouldn't have to, and I don't trust it would resolve everything anyway. Since I use my iPhone for music more than anything else, this is a little more than an annoyance.
