Nov 28, 2013 5:19 AM in response to S8toby Harry Brindley,Thanks, reconnecting the Remote app on my iPad to my computer's iTunes also solved the problem for me -- as unlikley as it would seem. I had a problem with both Music and Video syncing up, now all is well again. Yay!
For S8to, and others that may have to reinterpret the Remote solution, here's my blog post of the steps that worked for me http://slapphappe.wordpress.com/2013/11/27/since-upgrading-iphone-or-ipad-to-ios -7-and-perhaps-updated-itunes-along-the-way-music-and-or-video-has-stopped-synch ing/ -- the full credit to which goes to this community of long suffering users who kept working away at the issue until it was resolved. Hope it works for many others too!
P.S. I spent over two and a half hours at the Walt Whitman Apple store yesterday, they replaced my iPad, I had four geniuses trying to help me -- yet I walked away without a solution -- until back home I tested out this unlikely fix for myself.

Nov 28, 2013 6:05 AM in response to Harry Brindleyby slee204488,Sorry. Didn't work for me. Cannot sync the "corrupted" files.

Nov 28, 2013 6:12 AM in response to slee204488by S8to,You need to remove them first as well.. If you select your entire library and get info, say change BPM (not really used as a tab) then sort by that field at either the top or the bottom you will see an ! against the the corrupted files. Either help the machine correct them or simply delete them.. To sort..

Nov 28, 2013 6:17 AM in response to S8toby slee204488,Well. iOS6 successfully synced these "corrupted" files without problems. I don't see any reason to delete these music files. Rather, I will wait for Apple to fix this bug.

Nov 28, 2013 2:17 PM in response to Harry Brindleyby renegadezombie,Thanks Harry for your tutorial, worked like a charm for my iPhone 4S. Tried all the previous methods and those didn't work for me, but this one did.
I did Harry's instructions using iOS 7.0.4 on a 64GB iPhone 4S, using iTunes 11.1.3.8 using Windows 7. Didn't have to remove my current library and readd it, though I did select additional artists to sync and this worked. Strangely though, after updating it hung on "Canceling Sync" with iTunes. Didn't seem to affect anything.

Nov 29, 2013 9:16 AM in response to yax412by Hildyfromflorida,I am running ios 7.0.4 and Mavericks on MBP Retina. I had the same probelm with music on my library not syncing with iPhone. I backed up the phone and then restored from the back up. Everything synced fine. Seems like it is an ios 7.0.4 issue or and issue of that ios when combined Mavericks.

Nov 29, 2013 10:20 AM in response to Hildyfromfloridaby renegadezombie,Seems more likely to be a syncing issue between iOS 7 and iTunes. Had this issue and I use Windows 7. The nature of the issue indicates the songs are not transferring properly to the device while syncing and after that point both the music app and iTunes fail to recognize the entire song file is not their, thus why subsequent syncs do not fix it unless it involves removing all the files first and then re-adding them.
Still odd why the remote app would trigger all of this to work properly though.
