stuck on waiting for changes to be applied

How do you stop purchased songs from downloading the iTunes app? I have 85 songs frozen on "preparing to download" and I can't figure out how to stop them.

this has happened to me several times. RESTORE iphone, then DO NOT sign in to ICLOUD when prompted. Icloud seems to mess up everything when activated.

Disabling wifi sync fixed the problem for me. I wish Apple fixed iTunes. It has become a beast.

I'm beyond ****** I spent $300 on something that doesn't work? C'mon apple this is a problem obviously is there no patch or fix for this ? I can't justify this purchase if it doesn't play music?!!!

Ok mine is brand new out of the box since apple told me hardware issue lol I knew it wasn't I want to avoid the step 5 of 5 please I know if I try to restore it will do this should I set up as new

I know! I've been playing music from my NAS until I followed the steps and have a completely nuked iTunes library waiting to be re-created ON MY iMAC! WHAT?!

I have no problem synching music on to my iPOD using the same PC, iTunes library and cable. It is just iPhone that fails.

Latest IOS upgrade v7.0.6 has not made this any better.

i am having same problem - first time i have synced in months, and cannot add any songs whatsoever. tried all the fixes listed above and nothing works. Amazingly bad service

My 5th Generation iPod still syncs just fine too. It's a breath of fresh air! Much quicker to fill an 80gb iPod with video files than it is to sync a new album to my phone.

ios 7.1 seems to improve on sync

Initially only wouldn't sink wirelessly now has degraded to waiting FOREVER for sync to start! Wouldn't think this would be that difficult to fix, it has only been MONTHS!

How did you tackle Smart Playlists?

I just deleted them and re-created them from the same rules as before.

Hopefully yours don't have too many rules.
