Q: The (parallax) motion doesn't work. I got an iPhone 5

I've been looking arond the web for help, and looks like no one has this problem. The thing is that I updated the ios (7) today, and when I was trying the ios, I noticed that the parallax motion and the compass weren't working. I turned on and off the phone thinking that maybe only needed that, and it didn't work. And after, I decided to rebooted the sistem and left it as a new iPhone and so I did, and nothing. I check online and read that maybe it could be that in settings I needed to turn off the "reduce motion" and I did it as well, but it didn't help. So I don't know what else to do. Can someone give me some help with this. Thanks in advance.

    I had the same issue, i went to my phone operator and they gave me a new iPhone, and they say that was an electrical failure.

     

    Tuve el mismo problema, fue a mi operador y me dieron un nuevo iPhone, me dijeron que el problema era por una falla electrica.

    i had the same problem, did a soft reset (hold lock button and home button at the same time until it shuts off, then wait a few seconds and press the lock button to turn back on), and now it works perfectly

    I do have same problem...from the day i bought my iphone 5..its compass is not working and gyro controls in games like asphalt is not working..There is no parallex effect..none of it...Tried everything from restorinng to rebooting..but nonthing worked.  i hope apple do read this..

    I have same problem, my iphone5s is not rotating, parallax wallpaper not work and compass too...

    First restarted the my cell phone and nothing and i decided reboot that oes not work, HELP ME.

    I took mine to the apple store, they ran some kind of diagnostic on it, and gave me a new phone.  I was in and out of there in 15 minutes.  Back your phone up first, just in case something goes haywire at the store.
