ISP don't know then your internet is not PPPOE based.. therefore it is the Apple setup utility that is playing up.. there is no secret or hidden value.. !!

What type of broadband do you have??

What is the exact model of the modem? Is it also a router.

If it is adsl which I suspect.. apple is trying to force you to set the TC as main router.. unfortunately many places in the world do not even use PPPoE so the only way you can use the TC is useless .. it has to be in bridge.

If you modem is a router.. manually setup the TC.. do not allow it to continue the auto setup.. click the edit. go to the network page and change the setting to Off (bridge mode).

Exactly which model TC are you using.. A1xxx from the base please.

And what Airport utility are you running on what OS??

    Bridge looks like this.
