Hi my iPhone 5 will not show in iTunes. I am using windows 8 which recognises the devise
iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.4
- update itunes
- try another lightning cable
- try another usb port on the PC
- try a reset by holding the home button and sleep/wake button down at the same time, then releasing both buttons when the Apple logo appears
Tried all of the above even re installed iTunes no result
did you uninstall itunes and all its components in the correct order as shown in the link below:

The question that I want to ask can you try device on other computer? Best choise to isolate issue is with iPhone or computer/os.
