I updated my iPhone 5 to the new ios 7 now im having major problems that i didnt have before phone keeps freezing non stop which leads to it turning off then back on. but it still has the problem when it restarts. pleases somebody help me fix this...

Since I turned off Background App Refresh for Weather I haven't had the freezing problem, and it's been several weeks.
I too have my iphone 5 going beserk in standby mode. Basically two problems:
A) phone's standby app freezes and does not recognize lock screen finger touchs on the number pad.
B) standby app does not recognise swipe left to answer calls from unidentified numbers
I really hope apple fixes these otherwise phone us going back to where it came from.
Only God knows why! :) but onw thing, turn background update and dont update tp 702 if u havent done yet and wait till 703 or 7,1 comes!
So nobody has a freezing/crash problem by turning off background App Refresh?
Well, when I was on 7.0.2 i had everithing turned off bacause im a battery saver enthusiast :D my 5s was still restarting by itself, skype and all other apps had no audio, and long respond times! I believe i5 i5s is two different story! Since i got a new 5s i left it in 7.0 and the phone and all the apps are perfect!
To fix this problem try this:
Settings>General>Background App Refresh, and turn off the Weather.
It worked for me.
Update 7.0.3 solved all my problems!
Did you have freezing problem at any moment?
Any freeze at the moment, its working perfectly.

Check out this! Its says! 7.0.3 still crashes on i5s! My Apple geek griend sold his 5s and using his old 5 with 7.0.3 and its works he says!
Since Apple care gave me a new 5s, and I use it on 7.0, I did not even switched off or restarted yet but still works without sny problem! Check in this forum guys! That was 16 days ago!
Please only iphone5s users write in this forum, as normal i5 seems to be working on 7.0.3
even my iphone 4s has the same problem even after updating it to 7.0.3. it freezes up after any notification and i have to hard reset the ph everytime.

I just did, but what for??:) im aure 7.0.9 comming soon and hope dies at last!!!/) I stay on 7.0 till 100% of usera says its ok to go!
Go to settings>icloud>storage and back up>back up
after that preform a restore by going to
general>reset>erase all content and settings
this will delete everything except the enabled stuff on icloud.
You can view whats enabled by going to icloud in settings.
