The Walrus and the Carpenter......the time has come the walrus said to speak of many things....

seduction and betrayal....it's a real shame. Something I would suggest Apple management study.

BTW, I have not looked at this app myself (I like iOS7 icons),

you may want to check out Pimp Your Icon ($0.99US).  Supposedly

allows you to completely customize icons to make them look

    however you want.

One more point, and then... I'm off to the Verizon Store.

Despite Apple's claims to the contrary, it is not as if downgrading is "unallowed" across the board. It is certainly possible to completely erase a Mac's hard drive, pull off the shelf an installation disc for an older OS X system, install it onto that Mac, and then restore one's personal files and settings from the Time Machine backups.

So why won't Apple allow that kind of solution with its iPhone, especially when they ALREADY KNEW that the upgrade they were alerting users to install would prove incompatible with their hardware and system?

No longer can Apple tout its "user-friendly" interface. They are now not only UNfriendly, but ABusers.

Ebay is good option for anyone wanting to revert, as long as you have the cash. You can buy a 4S or IPhone 5 guaranteed to be running IOS 6 and then just sell your IOS 7 device after you get the new phone.

Total rubbish. It was irrefutably proved that you could easily and accidentally short out the antenna, resulting in a total loss of signal.

Bovine excrement of the highest purity.  It was repeatedly shown that you had to squeeze hard with a part of the hand  bridging the gap, (hence the "death grip" name) and then only about 50% drop in signal.  Most of the trolling youtube videos used metal paperclips to "demonstrate" the issue.

Why Apple supplied free bumper cases has to do with public relations due to the hyped, late night TV show publicity, probably a concept beyond  your grasp (or doesn't translate well into Korean).

I did err in my last post where I said "even a gibbon can learn to hold the phone without losing signal."  I should have said marmoset.  Maybe you can aspire to that.

Have it your own way, if you insist. You're wrong, but no amount of evidence will convince you of that, so you carry on deluding yourself if it make you feel good. And resorting to childish insults is usually a sign that your point is a weak one.

Don't forget, Apple's initial response to the problem was to try to prove that all other manufacturers had the same problem (they didn't) by posting stupid videos, which were hastily removed when it was pointed out that a) they were basically lying and b) they could get sued. It was a hilarious riposte, albeit an ineffectual one...

Whatever you choose to believe, many people DID have the problem, but heh, don't let a bit of evidence get in the way of your fantasy.

And all of them who really couldn't figure out how to avoid it without a case have double digit IQ's....  Those that did understand how to deal with it, yet refused, can easily be assigned the personality disorder of your choice.

I had an iPhone 4 for a year, passed it on to my daughter for 2 more years, and my wife has used one for 3 years, all without using a case and never had any signal problems.  OTOH, if I went out of my way to death grip the phone, I could reproduce it.

Mark: You have every right to be ****** off with Apple.

May be it was different 8-10 years ago, but I don't trust Apple updates now. Whenever there is a software update, I would wait a couple of weeks and research online how the update works with my hardware to see if there are any problems.

iTunes and the fact that you have to sync your mobile device with one particular computer are the worst features of Apple's system.

Your best option seems to be to sell your iPhone on ebay and get a Nexus 4 phone (about $200). Now is not a good time for upgrading your Macbook.

So, you didn't have the problem, ergo anyone who did must be an idiot. What incredible arrogance.

As anyone who understands statistics will tell you, your SINGLE case is statistically insignificant, particularly when compared to the millions of people who did have the problem. But heh, never mind, you just carry on deluding yourself and convincing yourself that you are perfect and everyone else is stupid; the problem is, most people are not that stupid, and can see you for what you really are, as opposed to what you think you are...

As anyone who isn't bool sheeting will say, YOU have absolutelly documented statistics showing that "millions of people" had this problem, or even claimed to have it.

If you had even 6th grade reading comprehension skills, you would realize that what I said involved 2 phones and 3 people, not "single."  Actually, I know at least 30 people who used the iPhone 4, in different areas of the country, using different carriers, and not a one had this problem.

Well, since you sync with your iTunes library, and since the sync process is a one-way process (always has been when there was only iTunes), how would you propose that that be done with more than one computer?
