No, restoring from backup, you can restore data, not iOS !

Modular 747 sounds like an Apple puppet.  Strings, sleeve, or finger is what I'm wondering?

Beware!  For thy God, Apple dost strike thee down if thous so much as protest the slightest.  All Hail Apple!

Yawn.  It's way past time  you needed to take that troll recertification course.

I visited the support group after making the mistake of upgrading my iPhone to iOS 7.  I wasn't looking for a way to go back to iOS 5.  I only wanted to see if there was a way to change the appearance and font back to the older version's.  Sadly, it appears not.  So, if anyone from Apple is listening, I'll just add my voice to the chorus of dismay.  It's not so much the flat, glaring colors that bother me, although I'm sure it adds to the problem.  It's the seeming thinness of the letters (or maybe it's an illusion created by a combination of new colors and fonts).  Everything is so difficult, and nearly painful, to read.  I make constant use of the Note Pad app on the iPhone.  Now, I can hardly see the lines on the "pad" and the white background is glaring.  I also have an iPad, and now I'm afraid to upgrade versions on it.  I read on the iPad much more than on the iPhone, and I can't bear the thought of ruining my iPad with the horrible new fonts.

Apparently, the recertification worked for you.  Congratulations!

No, my IQ has 3 fiqures, disqualifying me for troll certification.  You're good to go, however.

Apple is not here. So they are not listening.

Have you tried playing around with the adjustments in Assessability?

I fouind they help me a lot especially switching over to bold.

Thanks so much for that link.  All of the suggestions were extremely helpful, especially the option to put all text in bold.  The note pad app still has a glaring white background with thin lines, but at least I can read the text better.

If Apple are not here who is it that keeps deleting my posts directing people to where they can learn how to revert back to iOS 6? I'm not directing anybody to anywhere dodgy or illegal, just a tutorial on how to use the existing Apple software and iPhone. Somebody appears to be trying very hard to prevent folk from reverting back, or finding out how to do it legitimately.

The video you referenced was posted three months ago. It showed how to do it while iOS7 was in beta.

Not only are you violating the agreement you signed when you joined here, your information is complete BS.

You clearly know more than you're letting on then? What are you the site Gestapo? I don't know about you but I never signed anything when I joined, all I'm trying to do is find out how to resolve an issue. Its not me deleting anything that folk may find useful or at least offer up as an aunt Sally for folk to explain why it won't work with being rude and insulting.
