I've been around here a lot longer than you have. Thirteen years longer, actually. You think this thread is the be-all end-all of upset Apple customers? You should have been around when the switch from Power PC to Intel CPUs happened. The ranting and raving went on for months. The posts were in the tens of thousands. Even I was upset and had a number of raging posts deleted. It was going to be Armageddon for Apple back then too. Every time Apple changes things radically the absolute end of the company is predicted... and it never happens. That's why this thread is so entertaining to the old timers. Been there, done that, seen it all before.
But this time is different, right? I don't think so.

I wonder too. So many of the ranters are first time joiners of the discussion forums. They claim to be long time Apple users but have never had the occasion to visit these forums until now. We know that Samsung got caught red-handed paying people to trash HTC in forums in Taiwan so it makes one wonder.
Well, another point of view might be that they never needed to visit this forum until one of their devices was "upgraded" to iOS7...
Anyone who believes the negativity here with regards to iOS7 is some kind of Samsung-inspired campaign is just deluding themselves (it's called burying your head in the sand!)...
EXACTLY ...

iOS7 Fiasco!

A few people on here don't seem to get where the majority of people are coming from with this issue so let me give you an analogy.
When I buy a new car I don't just buy the first one I see. I look at price, quality, look, functionality, performance, size and end up with a short list that I eventually whittle down to 1. Once I've chosen which car, I then specify things that I want to tailor it to my specific needs and preferences i.e. colour, seat fabric, wheels and parking sensors.
I do the same when choosing a new phone.
If I took my car to the garage for a service I don't know exactly what they do but I have a good idea. I wouldn't expect them to say; "we updated your car"... you now have a new look dashboard; we've added a few things, moved a few things about and changed the overall look. We've changed the fabric on your seats too and the seats can now spin the opposite way round. It may be I'd like the changes, but there's a good chance I won't because I chose the car based on the features it had originally. I may find some of the added features useful, or there again may never use them. I may have lost features are really liked.
If it were a car I could turn round and say, “I'm sorry you should have told me first, I don't like what you've done put it back to how it was”. If they didn't the law would be on my side to ensure they did.
I feel the same way about my phone. I'd like it back how it was please and if you can't or won't do that Apple then fine, I'd like a refund instead.
What a load of bull. The update was purely optional, Apple asked you if you wanted to update and YOU AGREED.
YOU had plenty of time to do research and find out what iOS 7 was about BEFORE YOU AGREED to update.
I'd like it back how it was please and if you can't or won't do that Apple then fine, I'd like a refund instead.

Such a pity that there's a decimal point after the first digit.
Did you remember to tell him about the momkeys?

Back to troll school for you!! Hope Samsung doesn't doc your pay for poor performance.

Are you referring to this thread? The one that took 7 months to get to 151 pages?

Oct 11, 2013 5:49 PM in response to Proteous714by modular747,That one reached 120 pages within 1 month. There are several others. The comparison has to more to do with the imbecilic proclamations of Apples demise. This thread has an equal level of stupidity, though less participation.
I'm sure that tracking the IP addresses of the participants will show large overlap. Many of the "new, just joined" posters showing up here have actually to this forum here many times before.
