    Modular747,

Thanks for the link.  I don't understand the need to be so condescending and cryptic with your responses, however. When I wrote "we" I was simply pluralizing "I" because I have spoken, yes spoken, to other people around me concerning the new ios7.

The comment "They shouldn't be too much for you to handle" was rude.

The use of "we" without elucidation implies a global meaning - at least a large segment, if not all, of iPhone users, which would not  include just you and the people you speak to.  You appear to be speaking for everyone, which is certainly not the case.

The vast majority of people I know find the options useful, and there is nothing compelling anyone to use them. Yet, you feel that they should be eliminated for everyone because you regard them as clutter....

The comment "They shouldn't be too much for you to handle" was rude.

It was in response to your complaint that iPhone settings options were too cumbersome for you, and I was suggesting the article would not be so.  If you find that "rude", you need to evaluate your self-esteem.

Yes: it tells me if I grabbed the slider or not. Sometimes I don't.

Your point is clear: you don't see any need for feedback from UI elements. IOS7 is for you.

If you really "need" that feedback, start sliding with your finger on the the chevron and watch the text move.

This certainly couldn't be that you're gasping for things to complain about iOS 7, no matter how inconsequential, right?

LOL. I'd like nothing better than to be thrilled by IOS7. Already addressed your point.

No, you didn't.  The text is not "already moving" - there is spotlighting moving across the text in order to highlight it, which looks quite different than the text moving during the slide.

You're really reaching here.  But after all, this thread is solidly located in The Whiner's Zone

This article, based on an extensive review of ios 7 usability, does a good job describing the key problems, showing how Apple created a less-than-excellent product.   I agree with your findings.

If you take the time to read the thread, you will see that there are lots of different things that people do and don't like. I'm not sure the original poster has been active in this thread for a while.

I have read articles about ios 7 and I didn't like the way it looked. I never updated my device. All I know was my device got locked and apple updated it. I dislike ios 7 it crashes and restarts my ipad2 by it self. Then when I press the home button to get off an app it shows all these other apps and when I pressed it again it takes me back to the app I was trying to leave. Some of my buttons don't even want to work I have to press them twice just so they can show up. And the music player I really dislike I can't even search a certain song that I want to listen to. The way they made this just *****. I want to go back to ios 6. I have ios 5 and 6 on my old computer and ios 6 on my computer that's being fixed. But I can't downgrade to any of those. God I wish this I device never locked it self

I'm going back to andriod :)

Swipe up on the apps display, not the icon. The app is now no longer running.

Then look for an Android support forum as you will need it. No OS is perfect. Find what you like and move on.

I tried that. Still does the same thing.

No need to look for their support forums.

I think the way is to ask Apple to create a new "lay out" for it. I subscribe 100% you disapointment. It's hard to believe this is an apple creation!...

I think the great problem is the "layout" - it is very poor, no beauty in it - did you see that calendar? Do you think that has been made by Apple? I miss the old IOS 6! Please, do something...
