Another perfect example of the  useless whining/trolling masquerading as "feedback."  It contains all the classic traits:

    1. No specific issues with suggestions or questions, just generalized ranting and bashing

    2. Irrelevant claims to have been an Apple Fan with multiple other products (to deflect being considered a shill or troll)

    3. Invocation of Steve Jobs, and channeling how things would have been done under his command.

    4. Threats to change to another brand.

    Got it all!!

Calling someone a "whiner" is not constructive.

It may not be constructive but if they ask for it then they deserve it.

Apple is on a tear to make everything into an iPad. This is a very dangerous obsession. I wanted to buy a new iMac but now that they've limited OS X iWorks to the abilities of an iPad, I wonder if it will turn into a $3,000 iPad that I can't carry around.

Don't confuse sales with satisfaction. Many of the people who downdated iWorks regret it greatly. The fact that it's free doesn't make it wonderful. Maybe it's the only way they could unload it. Free things are often free because they are valueless.

The new iDon'tWorks was probably conceived in the Hoover conference room; that is, a vacuum, because they removed features without finding out first if anyone was using them. The develoeprs met their technical goals. They deserve a party, and they shoudl uncork the champagne. When the party's over, they should all be fired. Ultimately, software is for users, whom they forgot or ignored.

If sales were satisfaction, Microsoft would be the most beloved software company in the world.

Post constructive comments and questions. Unless otherwise noted, your Submission should either be a technical support question or a technical support answer. Constructive feedback about product features is welcome as well.

It is not at all "constructive" to denigrate people or make fun of them. And unless someone says, "Denigrate me", then they have NOT asked for it.

This new development, for me, kinda exemplifies the situation:

The pages app (which I paid $9.99 for) was working just fine on Friday. LOVED it, thought it was great, etc etc.

Now, all of a sudden, I discover it is unavailable unless I switch to 7. Well, I've already had my experience with 7, and it was beyond a mere aesthetic dissatisfaction. But now I can't use Pages (which WAS accessible less than 48 hours ago) unless I go with the software that I don't wish to.

This is crazy. I can now send a friend who has Office my pages documents, but I can't seee them for myself in the Pages app which I purchased on my iPhone?

Yeah, 200 million downloads already. That's because they're forcing the issue. Doesn't mean 200 million happy customers.

Yes they have, if all they have posted is only denigrating,  complaining remarks, with no value to anyone else.  And calling them out is constructive if it gets them to stop, or become constructive.  If they can't take criticism, calling a spade a spade, then it's constructive if they scurry off and infest some other forum.

Agreed!  It's cheap, nasty, tacky, hard to read... Massively disappointing and am disgusted that there is no option to keep my old look.  I have submitted feedback as suggested... PLEASE ADD YOUR FEEDBACK if you haven't already... Been an iPhone fan since the beginning but AM SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING CHANGING PHONES AND ABANDONING APPLE - ios 7 is just yukky!

Well, since you feel that way, allow me to state for the record that you're allowing yourself to be perceived like a jerk - and clouding your obvious intelligence, knowledge and ability to help because of it.

Most of the rip takers on here pay £20/30 a month and get a brand new phone every contract renewal. I personally paid £300 for a 4s headset not on contract. 122 pages later and umpteen suggestions  the fact is we've been stitched iOS 7 isn't compatible with any phone other than the new releases in one way or another. Plain and simple apple is just greedy and didn't want all it's 4,4s and 5 customers not to be able to buy apps etc etc. my phone is now pretty useless with no light at the end off the tunnel so pretty much p***ed.

Ohh before any of you moderators decide to make some cocky comment iOS 7 was designed for phones with a bigger processor and more memory hense all the crashing , battery issues and poor performance which I was actually told by an apple employer. Solution ? " there isn't one "

This is a user-to-user forum. To date, no Apple employees have participated. The Hosts ("mods") are identified by purple apple avatars. They rarely post. The Community Support Specialists are identified by title.

    Best of luck.

If this forum can't have user opinions then you can keep your whining comments to yourself as that's an opinion.

I've already sent apple my feedback, it will likely go in their trash bin. Once my contract ends I'll be looking elsewhere. Plenty of corporations have had financial ruin because they didn't listen to their customers.

I prefer the old photo organization. The photo icon has nothing to do with "photos". You like the new icons but how many people who have never seen an iphone GUI would guess than an NBC peacock logo would be "photos"?? It's not intuitive.

Microsoft thought windows was old so came out with windows8 = fail.

The iphone is a tool, now it's a toy. If I have to spend hours online figuring out features to do actual work not just ******* around.

Lets fix the screen contrast issues, get rid of grey text on white. Bold the text, etc. It shouldn't be broken in the first place.

Battery life on 4S is slightly worse even with the dumb features like motion turned off.

Like a computer, the end user should really have the choice what ios they want to use on it. If microsoft had forced windows8 on everyone who actually uses their pc for work what do you think would of happened... big angry outcry. I don't see why we should be handcuffed to ios7.

Here is Apple's fix to your problem with iOS 7 on your device: Buy the newest model of the device and you will not have the speed issues you'e experiencing now.

    Lol.

My complaint with iOS 7 is that it actually really does look much cheaper aesthetically speaking. There are some cool features, but overall, it looks like a rough draft of something much better, something that the current iOS 7 misses big time. For instance, if you're talking on the phone and you browse around the home screen, the green phone bar up top looks very cheap, not to mention, hard to read. This was not the case before. The way buttons and things were before, they made you want to press them because of how great they looked. Now, it's pretty f'ing basic! All I know is that Steve Jobs wouldn't have approved of this look. You went from GREAT to mehhhh.

Exactly!  I used to be a proud owner of my iphone - now I just look at it and think Yuck!  It just looks cheap and nasty.  :-(

I accept other people's comments that I should have checked out the look on the internet first .. and I had already noticed (and disliked) the changed look for icloud on my mac. ... BUT, not being a techie of any sort, I was afraid that missing the update could put me at risk from a security point of view... so I felt obliged to upgrade... I should have had the courage of my doubts and kept away.

Incidentally, it seems I am now blocked from one of the conversations along these lines... I'm not sure if I have been blocked because I dared to express my opinion (!?!) or whether it's because someone in that conversation dared to say: "There have been plenty of "correct" answers that YES u can roll back but that's not official apple policy so all of those posts have been deleted. How is this forum being honest to its readers?"

Either possibility smacks of intrusion of FREE SPEECH, dictatorial, and the opposite of open-minded ... can you have 'close-minded'!?
