The fact that you personally dislike iOS 7 doesn't make it a mistake. The vast majority of users of iOS 7 either feel it is an improvement or at the least, do not feel it is inferior in any way to iOS 6.
Considering as well that Apple's stock has INCREASED $62 per share indicates it's not a mistake either.
Your personal opinion is not fact. If you really, really want iOS 6 so bad, then there are other ways to acquire it. One is to use an iPhone 3GS. That has a maximum iOS of 6.1.3. Enjoy.

Oct 31, 2013 3:06 PM in response to 34SFby hot_spur,Surely that quote can't be correct. Jobs never made a mistake. That's why now that he's deceased Apple is doomed. It's being run by mere mortals now.

Windows 8 is innovative... Microsoft made some mistakes, "admit them quickly, and get on with improving their other innovations."

I didn't quote it as 'innovative'. I simply said it's not a 'mistake', given the positive responses that iOS 7 has received. Yes, some people don't like it. But some people don't like wheat bread, but the local supermarkets still sell it successfully.

Yes, but supermarkets don't stop selling wheat bread once white bread came out (or vice versa).

That's irrelevant. I was speaking to whether or not the product is liked by people or not. I never mentioned white bread.
Updating the iOS was not mandatory.
You can still use iOS 6 on an iPhone 3GS. If it is so critically important that you have iOS 6, purchase an iPhone 3GS.
You do NOT have the option of downgrading your iOS. Any other commentary on this issue is pointless.
The answer is 'NO'. You can't ask 'the other parent' for a different answer. It's written in stone.
Apple will never offer a method of downgrading iOS.
NEVER.
That is reality. Accept it, and move on.

Oct 31, 2013 9:43 PM in response to TJBUSMC1973by 570ad,Lol, that doesn't mean that the stock increase was directly because of iOS 7, come on man. They released two new iPhone versions with the release of iOS 7, so implying that iOS 7 increased Apple's stock is ridiculous.

Not ridiculous at all. The new iPhones and now iPads ALL COME WITH iOS 7. The iPhones were released 10 days AFTER iSO 7. They wouldn't be selling at record levels if iOS 7 were widely detested and the major "mistake" you claim.
They continue to sell well despite the "revolt" you proclaim. You live in your own world. You're more than entitled to your opinion of it, but you're deluding yourself about the rest of the universe. There's plenty that can be improved, but it surely will be fixed rather than abandoned in humility as you want.
FORGET ABOUT APPLE RESCINDING THE NO IOS DOWNGRADE POLICY THAT'S BEEN IN PLACE FOR THE LAST 7 YEARS. Not going to happen.

Oct 31, 2013 10:33 PM in response to modular747by 570ad,Easy bro, you're getting too intense, might blow a gasket. I never said it was an all out mistake, you've confused me with someone else.
I'm of the belief that any Apple stock increases is due to the new hardware they've released recently (e.g., iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, iPad Air, etc.) and some purchasable software vs. iOS 7 alone. Lol to mention stocks and attach iOS 7 with no mention of the hardware that people are actually paying for is a joke.

Oct 31, 2013 10:50 PM in response to 570adby modular747,No joke, despite your "lol". Obviously, Apple makes no money on the iOS itself. However the hardware doesn't sell if the iOS is a bust. Pretty obvious to the people who invest in Apple, though probably not you..
For example, Apple stock dived during the iOS 6 Maps debacle, despite decent iPhone 5 and iPad sales. In that case, Apple became a but of jokes, had to issue a public apology, and top execs were fired. It hasn't had a significant recovery until after iOS 7, which started BEFORE the iPhone release and accelerated after the hardware release. Get it now?

Sorry if I expected you to comprehend something totally foreign to middle school studies.

It's MY device, so I want ios 6 back. It's my choise, wich Ios Version i want to use.
It's like: you buying a new GPU from ATI, but The ATI Software says: You can just playing Mahjong with your 400€ Gpu.
That is very silly!
