I have tried to live with the new ios7 but l can't. Thankfully, l haven't updated my iPad (which l am using for this) or other house 4S. I have toned down, made bold and changed as much as apple will allow and still the colours are garish, it's still flat, bland and very white. Safari is totally frustrating and unusable, luckily Mercury Browser saved the day.  But l guess you want a slice of the China's  market and kids don't you. I even watched the video about the ios7 and the colours aren't garish at all, strange that! Well, Jony Ive  VP you have alienated from what l read on here a sizable chunk of loyal customers. I never thought l would consider another brand as my next purchase. So, Apple how can l downgrade? Because consumer law is looking favourable at the customer who's product is now causing H&S issues.

Do we all really have a choice to NOT upgrade? Isn't it always a matter of time before we all have no choice but to accept an upgrade otherwise our phones won't work properly without upgrading. Or am I wrong?

And while I'm here...... I HATE IOS7! And I will be selling my phone if somethings not done to rectify all the issues that everyone is complaining about. No wonder Samsung is getting so many sales. They have me for a sale, that's for sure if things don't change soon.

And you know what?  If Apple had any respect for us, they should be sending us all an sms or email within the next 24 hours to apologise for this, which has to be, the greatest of greatest mistakes that Apple have ever made AND assure us that these issues will be rectified ASAP.

Whoever came up with this lame idea to change what was already fine, looks wise, should be sacked. Yes people can get used to, in time, new applications and changes to old applications, but very very difficult if impossible to get used to something that looks like it should belong in a kindergarten toybox.

And once again............ I AM GOING BLIND LOOKING AT THESE **** WHITE SCREENS!!!!!! FIX IT FOR GOD SAKE APPLE! FIX IT!

THIS BLOODY PHONE COST ME A FORTUNE. HOW DARE YOU TREAT US WITH SUCH DISRESPECT!

I am sorely disappointed with iOS 7. That is a fact. Even typing this up is so much slower than on iOS 6 so I've learned another thing I am unhappy about. Seems I have you to thank for that.

What iPhone are you using? Whenever a new major upgrade comes out either on a PC or iPhone, the older hardware sometimes struggles with the newer software as the new ( more sophistacated) software taxes the precessing power of the older hardware. This tends to manifest itself in delayed reactions to inputs such as typing or switching screen on the homescreen. So it is really not an iOS7 problem per se. Just the inability of the hardware to deal with the software.

Which probably leads people to go out and buy the newest piece of hardware, in the long run.

Exactly mate! It's not the changes in features that everyone is going mental about. It's the **** look that is hurting everyones eyes AND the fact that this look is so juvenile.

Bring back the colours from last ios, bring back the thicker fonts from last ios and bring back the old phone keypad and old Safari and I reckon the rest will be accepted.

I agree. The white is and will be very tiring on the eyes. If going back to iOS6 is not possible then being able to adjust and customise the palette colours of the background in Settings must be the way forward

This is what happens when you use Apple products.  This is exactly why I no longer use an Iphone(5 years) or support apple, and changed to Android.  I can deal with the app quality on Android and security issues.  I've never had any problems.

    However, I can:

    1) infinitely customize it how I want

    2) downgrade if i want

    3) save money by not having to purchase overpriced apple accessories

    4) not have to use iTunes to do things with the phone.  Just plug the USB in, and it looks like a flash drive.  drag-n-drop.

After one year of using Android, I love it and I am never buying an Iphone again.  I hate having no control on something you spent money on because you are at the mercy of the manufacturer.  THis IO7 deal is the sort of thing I hated.

So if you are currently using Android and have not used an iPhone in over a year, why are you here trolling? Especially since it looks like you just created your account today?

I.......hate......this....new.....upgrade!!!!  I touched the button by accident and now looks like I have a cheap knock off tablet instead of an iPad. Plus the coloring gives de a headache......too bright and pale.  What genius thought this was a good idea?!?!?!?  Seems it was just changed to just to change it.  Hate, hate, hate it to the moon and back.

Their stock sold off on the release of both phones and IOS7.  I"m no fan of the upgrade as its harder to simply use or takes 2 steps instead of 1.

My quick reaction was "oh, they are trying to match 'driod...".

Was looking to migrate on my work phone to iPhone (IOS6) but with IOS7 that is now on hold.

Small Example: you 'sweep' your apps away to close them now , whereas before you double clicked the home button and simply X'ed out the apps to close them.  I could close 5 at time before in a row, now must sweep one at a time...zzzzzz

Hey, remember when Apple made their huge comeback a few years ago with those commercials with two men side by side, "Hi I'm a Mac" , "And I'm a PC" and the Mac guy went on and on how you can customize your Mac to any way you want and how it doesn't come with all those pre-installed programs like a PC?

I guess that wasn't the plan with the next generation of Apple products!

I switched to Mac three years ago and my iMac came chock full of pre-installed programs and so did my phone. In fact, I can't even delete the pre-installed apps on my phone/s.

"They" all fall victim to their egos. We suffer for it.

iOS7 looks like it was designed for the teen market in Japan and China. Forcing the rest of us to swallow this Hello Kitty style is something Steve J would never have approved. A work of art has been reduced to a commodity. How about a choice Apple?
