Clearly you have no idea what you are talking about. Performance is fine, heck even better than with previous versions of iOS on my iPhone and my iPad and many millions of users around the world. And the are studies also posted abundantly on the web that prove that iOS 7 specially iOS7.1 is faster than previous versions on all hardware that supports it.
So you better take your own advice and stop talking rubbish about things you clearly know nothing about.

I'm not sure that I'm willing to take technical design input from someone that has such difficulty using the reply/quote feature of a website...
Ooo ... that's hurtful. You don't seem to be a child ... yet you act like one.
The reality is that it is slower so who cares if you want to take technical design input ... are you an Apple employed technical designer?

I don't take design input seriously from anyone who thinks there is an absolute right or wrong when it comes to taste or preference. It's presumptious and silly to believe that the only opinion that matters or is valid is one's own.

Mar 27, 2014 6:21 AM in response to Ilovefruitby TJBUSMC1973,My iOS devices running iOS 7.1 are not slower than they were under previous iOS versions.
Again, what troubleshooting steps have you taken?
Have you had your device checked out by Apple?
Have you done any kind of reset or restore?

Mar 27, 2014 6:22 AM in response to IdrisSeabrightby TJBUSMC1973,Agreed, Meg. In my previous example, I also don't like the design of the new VW. But I'd never say it's a 'bad design' or 'flawed'. And since I never bought one or drove one, that's pretty much the end of it. I'm not wigging out because my neighbor drives one.

Ever since the moved the engine to the front, it just hasn't been the same....

Because it isn't bad, just different. iOS7 is bad.

Sadly you are wrong. Design has principles as do ergonomics. If you think iOS7 was so great, why do you think Apple has been rushing updates to try and fix all the things it got wrong?
Also, all you high Levellers, stop ganging up ... it's beginning to feel a bit L. Ron around here!

Cite a specific issue that is 'bad'. I've yet to find anything about iOS 7 I dislike. Sure, I have preferences. It's like chocolate and vanilla. I like both, but I like chocolate a bit better on some days, and on other days I like vanilla.
Sometimes you feel like a nut; sometimes you don't. I miss those old Almond Joy & Mounds commercials!
You don't like iOS 7. We get that. Yay. Good for you.
I do like iOS 7. So does Meg. So do millions of other users. We aren't trying to tell you that you have to like it. But you're sure intent on changing our minds.
In other words, we feel that you are welcome to your opinion. But you don't extend the same courtesy to us.
Interesting. What's your stake in this? Do you work for Samsung? Why are you so intent on changing people's opinions?

Only in your make believe world perhaps ... care to publish some results of tests you have run on your hardware?
You'd probably make them up anyway

Care to publish your tests?
How much is Samsung paying these days to amateur trolls?

Here's one: white text on pale green is hard to read
And another: Titles and buttons should be differentiated
There are so many ... and you know them all so why pretend?
Just because you like it doesn't make it good. It is poorly designed but maybe you are not a designer so you just can't understand...?

Mar 27, 2014 6:41 AM in response to Ilovefruitby TJBUSMC1973,I have done design work, actually. And the design is different, but not inherently bad. And with so many apps available in the App Store, if you don't like one app's appearance, get another one.
And where is the white text on the pale green screen bothering you? In what app?

You must be joking ... you know design and still think it is well designed. Good grief!
Apps can't replace the OS
Do you use the SMS fuction much?

From the guy that's done nothing expect post in this one thread, over and over and over.
Find a new song, Patchwork. This one's getting boring.
