I wish I could go back, not because of the new UI. Mainly because my battery life went to crap and now I have no sound on my 4s. No ringer, no alarm, no keystroke clicking,no phone calls. What a joke.

There is a thread everytime a new update comes out about battery life. Look them up to find solutions

Mine worked fine... Yesterday. I could care less about which iOS I have. I want a phone that works, and if iOS 7 makes it not work, **** rights I should have the option to downgrade.

And just how is it making it not work?

Your phone will continue to work properly if you do not update.

The phone will, .......but new applications and otherwise will NOT.

The new IOS7 infrastructure is a necessity for developing APPS that necessitate IOS7

I already looked it up, made a marginal difference. Nowhere near the decreases I'm seeing. Been through 4 cycles so far.

The new IOS7 infastructure is a necessity for many future APP updates and certainly newly developing APPS that necessitate IOS7

Nope because the app store now keeps older versions that will work with older ios versions so your argument is not valid.

Then something is wrong with your phone did you do a complete restore without using your backup?

After the update I have no sound. At all. No music, alarm, clicks, phone calls (can't talk or listen). Worked 100% prior. Can't get it to make a sound of any kind.

I do not like the look of the new IOS 7 at all.  I called support to find out how to return to the old IOS and was told that I could not.  That is why my next phone will use the andriod operating system.  This is my last Apple product.

Greg, cq cq cq  ...    I think you missed the point.

I was advocating that people DO upgrade to IOS7

And I was saying that people don't have to if they don't want to. Just don't complain about missing features that us iOS7 users have.

You do realize that most all android phones cannot be updated to the newest operating system unless the phone maker releases an update. Android is so fragmented that developers have a hard time getting their apps on devices.
