Even more reason to have not updated. Go to an apple store and play with the phones there.

Beari in mind not all of us live in a city let alone an Apple store.

You have internet access.  There's this thing called 'YouTube'.  You could have watched the videos that were online before the release that gave information about the update, or waited until after the release to watch the new videos.  Don't use such a ridiculous excuse as 'There is no Apple store nearby.'

Actually what is giving me the chuckles is that the finger print reader will read just about anything.   The latest was even a man's private parts...that does not give me the warm fuzzies about security but does make me LOL

It aptly shows that the scanner can't tell the difference between a finger, a cat's paw or a man's nipple. All it needs is a pattern. The greater security concern in this should be that your providing Apple with your fingerprint... which is almost as dumb as willingly giving someone your credit or debit card information to keep "on file"...

If you're concerned about Apple 'stealing' your info, then don't ever put your credit card information in your billing information for iTunes, don't ever visit any website and make a purchases, don't ever check your bank account balance online, don't ever check your email on your phone.... shall I go on?

I had no problem reading it, I totally agree with him.  We should have the option to go back to 6 if we want to.

No, you shouldn't.  Downgrading can causes significant issues with your device after your apps have updated.  and if you'd read the Terms & Conditions instead of clicking 'agree', you'd have seen that downgrading is not supported.

Yes, there is no way. You have to live with this. Only affect is the lost space. Best solution? Install it! I don't know if it looks better or not (i don't care too much) but works better for sure. I like it.

Well it's been real, it's been fun...might even say real fun.  But I'm turning off the notifications for this thread...

    - There is, no longer, a supported roll back method.

    - The conversation as stimulating as it is is not getting any where.

    - And honestly I'm tired of the volenteer support folks that seem to think bullying people is the way to get them to follow the Apple way.

Best bet...leave Apple feedback...don't upgrade...if you have upgrade and you don't like it your SOL so find a new phone/tablet.

    Got it ...thanks...Bye

The only people here who represent Apple are the Hosts (purple Apple avatars) who you won't see much outside of the Using Apple Support Communities Forum and the Community Support Specialists (black Apple avatar). They answer questions that have gone unanwered for 24 hours and that can be answered mostly by a reference to a support article.

And, no, most of us do not care what your ultimate decision is. Only you know what's best for you.

Luckily, he doesn't work for Apple.  He expressed his opinions, which I share.  I detest whiners, or those that threaten to change platforms.

Please, go ahead.  Change platforms.  No skin off of our nose, and none off of Apple's either.  No one said that EVERYONE has to like Apple products.

Don't like the opinion?  Change the channel.

No, for not being sweet & cuddly.

Some people can't handle direct & bare honesty.

"Don't like the opinion?  Change the channel."

Several people have expressed this, and while it's a nice sound bite it's unrealistic.

Some of us have invested lots of time and money in Apple products because we like how Apple makes stuff work. Apple isn't going to give us our money back; we're in for good unless we want to throw that investment away. It's reasonable to expect that Apple will continue to produce simple, intuitive interfaces for us. This time, they really didn't. The design wastes space, adds steps for some tasks, and is hard to read. All very un-Apple things. We're allowed to gripe about that without being told to 'just change the channel if we don't like it.'  We would rather Apple fixed it.

I 100% agree with you.  I think that there are many of us that are very unhappy with OS7 and want to go back.  I think Apple should let those of us that are still using the 4 and 4S phones.  I upgraded mine by pure mistake, not intentionally while updateding my Itunes on my laptop and had my phone connected to my computer and while working on other things -distracted I guess.  But. oh how this distraction cost me.  I do not like this upgrade one bit, I had always put my faith in them that they would do the right thing.  Not anymore....  As soon as my phone contract is over I will switch phones and it starts with an S....

My post, that you referred to, was in reference to AbqGolfdiva's 'complaint' about lkrupp's commentary, not in regards to providing feedback to Apple.  Read my post in context, please.

Feel free to do so.  No one at Apple cares if you choose to switch over.  No one here cares either.

Just do it.  That's well within your right.

"I think that there are many of us that are very unhappy with OS7 and want to go back."

I realize this is the wrong thread for this, but I don't specifically want to go back, although I'm not going to upgrade the iPad and my wife probably won't want to upgrade her 4S. I want the new features (and bug fixes) of IOS7 in a better interface. Unfortunately I think it will be a LONG time before there is a change; I think Apple has a lot of pride staked in this new design. New features or better interface...  we shouldn't have to choose.

Apple is touting the high adoption rate of IOS 7 but I don't see any footnote disclaimers saying that they aren't letting people go back.
