Do you really think they read feedback ???? LOL
Yes. There are a couple of recent examples where there was a fairly concerted campaign of feedback that resulted in changes, notably making the function of the slide switch on the side of the iPad user selectable. Another was a change in the interface for the iTunes mini player (a few versions back).
Of course, in this case, I hope Apple does ingnore all this feedback.

Sep 26, 2013 2:23 PM in response to IdrisSeabrightby yofromto,Perfect. If Apple used feedback to make a change to the interface for the iTunes mini player, then there is some hope that this support community might help address the brightness issue. It would be a shame and a bit arrogant on the part of Apple to ignore, what I and many feel are necessary points of their UI to reconsider.

Sep 26, 2013 2:30 PM in response to yofromtoby Vagabond ,Apple recently deleted my post and asked to write them direct to the feedback section...

Sep 26, 2013 2:32 PM in response to yofromtoby IdrisSeabright,Apple also has a long history of deciding what they want to sell and then doing that, even when people say they're crazy. My point was they read feedback and have mind some very minor changes as a result. If I were a betting person, my money would be on Apple not returning to the previous interface.

I wish you are right ... Because, if you Google.. You will see WHAT really is the feedback on iOS7... Not everybody goes to apple's web site and provide feedback ... I DID .. I hope they read my feedback ... Because I can tell you this: I am NOT HAPPY AT ALL ... I bought for something and NOW I have something else ...
If the Apple mobile produtcs continue with this new design, they will loose 1 customer = me ....
And most of people I spoke didnt liked the new iOS7.. Like 80% ...How Apple has changed since Steve Jobs died .. Apple is dying now ...

Unfortunately I think you are right about Apple not returning to prevous interface ...
BUT, at least they could give a choice. Like they way to select the language, you could select the iOS interface design. I dont think it is a BIG DEAL ... Windows has it, you can change between different templates

I feel the same way. I am going to the Apple store today and will see what I can get done. Taking the post from the gentleman who was able to go back after many calls and visits to the store but he got it done. They only gave the customers a week after the new release to go back. Shut it down the weekend of the 21st. I did mine by mistake while upgrading I Tunes on my laptop. Funny thing is, I had my phone plugged in and forgot to disconnect after I uploaded pictures and voila my phone changed to OS7 and didn't realize what I had done until it was finished. If they do not correct this and give those of us the option to downgrade I will probably not buy another Apple product again. Yes, I am that angry too....
Max you can do is what I have done... Buy another one, with the old iOS6 installed ... and sell you old with upgraded with iOS7 ... LOL

Sep 26, 2013 2:50 PM in response to igtothby IdrisSeabright,What you fail to understand is that the vast majority of people who are using iOS 7 aren't getting online and complaining about anything. Most people are simpy going about their business, using their phones. I helped a 93 year old man with his iPhone yesterday. He got stuck on the activation screen while he was updating. I walked him through it, showed him a few things that had changed. He shrugged and asked what all the fuss was about. He is most people (except for the 93 year old part).
I'm not saying you're wrong for not liking it. I'm saying you're more than a little wrong for making the leap from you not liking it to the demise of Apple. And even if Apple goes out of business, there will be other phones. The world will continue to revolve. Babies will get born. Life will go on.

I hope you were kind and reminded the ol fella that if he gets up in the middle of the night and sees a bright white light that he didn't kick the bucket... it's just iOS 7. ;) LOL! Sorry I couldn't resist that one.

Sep 26, 2013 4:24 PM in response to viperman17by Anti-Static,Please send Jony Ive back to hardware, the only space in which his brilliance is confirmed. Skeuomorphic or not, the icons are so trite they look like they were peeled from a toddler’s sticker book.
The “simplify” mantra is open to many interpretations; this one is infantile in the extreme, in tone as well as manner. Regarding nothing more than the visual images themselves, they invoke the patronizing voice of a pre-school teacher, “That’s very nice, Jony.”

You really should have resisted. Joking about someone dying? This isn't the forum for that.
