Sep 28, 2013 8:06 AM in response to KC7GNMby irishelf67,I hate to break it to you, but what they showed online about ios 7 doesn't look like what we got. Plus, the pictures are blown up, not actual size, which is VERY misleading. And trying out in stores? Get real. That might have been an option when I 1st purchased my devices 3 years ago. Now every store that I go in has the device LOCKED BEHIND GLASS. Good luck getting someone to open the glass up to actually let you try it out. And since visually impaired people don't drive (and a lot of us use Apple devices), many of us do not have the option of going to an Apple store. And of course, there is the fact that most of the stores I have been in still have the devices on ios 6 (I can tell, since I can actually READ the screen and it doesn't look like an acid trip). Stop telling us just to deal with it. Ios 7 ***** big time and has made devices useless to a lot of customers. I was considering buying a newer ipad next year. But I won't if ios 7 is as unreadable as it is now!

Sep 28, 2013 10:03 AM in response to irishelf67by ziggy925,I keep telling you to keep the faith. After extensive searches on Google I've found many sites that help you learn to live with the new OS. No, none are psychiatric sites and none really tell you how to go back, but they do have a lot of tips. Furthermore, all the complaints in this thread are making it into the press. They are reporting that a lot of users are complaining, and there are even medical reports on how the new OS is making people physically sick, as some of you are reporting here. Really, it's not your imagination!
Again, Apple can't let this bad publicity go anymore than it could the publicity on the security problems found in the new OS. If the OS is making you sick, I see lawsuits on the horizon and I don't remember ever hearing of an OS actually making people physically ill. True, Windows 8 made me mentally ill, but not physically ill.
While some of the posts in this thread are interesting, spend some time searching the net to find even more interesting stuff.

Sep 28, 2013 10:06 AM in response to ziggy925by Ethmoid,Well no, of course none of these sites will tell you how to go back because you cannot now go back - now Apple have stopped signing iOS 6 it is impossible to go back and you will just get error messages if you try because the phone sees it as old software and not compatible.

Sep 28, 2013 10:27 AM in response to viperman17by Robynne1018,Okay had to wait 'til this morning to see if what we did with the Apple Sr Adviser last night helped...
Go into your phone and do a reset...
Then plug in to computer and disable auto sync.
Then make sure you back up your phone so you won't lose date.
Then restore.
It seems to have solved everything...
Also there is an article in Yahoo today about disabling auto refresh on inecessary apps...
The upgrade triggered this on.
Go in and change your settings...
You may have your good old phone back... (of course with a slightly annoying new face but hey...)
LOL

Sep 28, 2013 11:20 AM in response to flexmarketmanby AnimalMother,Hey guys, did you find a way to bring back the UI of IOS6???
Or are we all stuck with IOS7?
Why does Apple keep deleting innocent posts?
The UI lags on my iPhone from everything to turning it on to using the internet, the battery life drops drastcaally faster even with apps closed in the background.
Is there a way to disable the UI, i don't like how it fades in. I liked when it turned on and off without the fade and safari was MUCH better in IOS6 then 7.
Any ideas on how I can get the last update

Sep 28, 2013 11:50 AM in response to hot_spurby marysplacestudio,Remarkably, many of the older apps that were quite nicely designed are now following in Apple's footsteps with plain white screens, no backgrounds, mostly text... and they're touting these changes as progress! I can't believe this—like the emperor with no clothes, we are supposed to believe that a bare, stark white screen or a flat dull presentation is the finest design we've seen!
It's a remarkable little design revolution that's making artists all over the world gag.

Sep 28, 2013 12:09 PM in response to marysplacestudioby ziggy925,This thread has over 32,000 views. Not sure how this compares to previous "upgrades," but Apple can't ignore this. Waiting for 7.0.3.

Yes, but they don't hire him to paint their houses.

Sep 28, 2013 12:20 PM in response to hot_spurby marysplacestudio,Yes, of course, there will always be those who think a blank screen with blue text at the edge is a minimalist work of genius. But I call it Palm phone version 1. None the less, I respect your view though it would appear to be in the "Jackson" minority.
