Okay had to wait 'til this morning to see if what we did with the Apple Sr Adviser last night helped...

Go into your phone and do a reset...

Then plug in to computer and disable auto sync.

Then make sure you back up your phone so you won't lose date.

    Then restore.

It seems to have solved everything...

Also there is an article in Yahoo today about disabling auto refresh on inecessary apps...

    The upgrade triggered this on.

Go in and change your settings...

Also, reset your phone. Trust me.

You may have your good old phone back... (of course with a slightly annoying new face but hey...)

    LOL

Like the majority on here, I hate the new upgrade, it makes the phone look sort of cheap.  If apple wanted to to bug fixes etc, they could have done that and also gave us extra options, keeping the same ones as well ie, I cant find the ring tone or text notification that I used to have.  My contract is up next year, and I 100% definitely wont be getting another iphone.

This IOS update is disatrous. My text mesages in iPhone 4S have an impossible lag where you are frozen for up to 5 seconds. I cannot get use iTunes (latest update) or iPhoto to see the device so I cannot download my photos of today and needed now. I cannot reverse back out of IOS 7 because I cannot get iTunes on Macbook 10.7.5 to see the device to do so. I am stil amazed you cannot send emails from mail or Entourage in 10.7.5 using me.com smtp (Apple's own email system) so am only able to use Exchange. It must be the same team writing IOS? Give me back my previous iPhone IOS so I can use it properly please. Can anbody help me please?

if you didnt upgrade and dont want to be disturbed everytime by the OS asking if you want to upgrade it.. here is the advice..

1- backup your iphone on itunes

2- perfome factory reset (it will wipe out the iOS7 from your iphone, if already downloaded)

    3- restore it using itunes

4- disable wifi right after restored (to avail auto download again of iOS7)

5- fill up your iphone with photos or musics, leave less than 3GB free.

Now, if you go to Settings -> General -> Software update .. You will see msg like this:

There is no way to install the upgrade because you need at least 3.2gb free

    Cheers

Yes I agree IOS7 is ugly and disfunctional.  APPLE will never let you downgrade because it would make IVE's look bad and maybe the Queen will take back his knighthood

APPLE has become MICROSOFT in the 90's just as arrogant.  Sorry users we have no reason to listen to you because we are the best (sure when SJ was in charge).

There is one way to downgrade and upgrade at the same time.  Buy Android or Windows Phone. Yes the apps are as much but it does many things better.

APPLE get off your high horse and give USERS options.

The use of red and blue is UGLY and gives me a headache.

There is one way to get iOS6 back - if you have Applecare and you experience problems with your phone they will replace it with a new phone like the one you had - at it will have iOS6 on it... Thank goodness for Apple Care - buy it on everything.

I started to have dropped phone call, battery and backup issues after upgrading, and took it back and apple care replaced it.

After a week of frustration with iOS7 I finally have my old iphone 4S back - and I appreciate the original design and accessibility and readability of iOS6 so much more.

I guess I have to take down the "Sent from my iPhone - & I hate iOS7" from my phone email signature now.!

(PS while I was in the Apple Store today, there were several people there my age who were complaining about the useability and readability of iOS7)

Although cannot see IOS7 device on iTunes or iPhoto, I was able to get my photos to the iPhoto library from the Photo Stream, which synch'ed my iPhone photos of today to iPhoto, brilliant feature.

Yes - education is expensive - ******* off your largest user base (baby boomers) can be fatal.

Republic wireless with the backing of Google  is entering the market with the $250 moto x and $10 per month service - its going to turn the mobile market upside down and Apple is going to have to work harder to retain loyalty and keep the handset prices high.

I guess the problem isn't downgrade to IOS6, the problem is that Apple shouldn't have offered such a horrible, poor and childlike IOS for customers. It was not an evolution, it is a step behind! I don't believe that some press reviews say that the IOS7 is great and awsome, perhaps my IOS7 is different from them. Much more a copy from Windows Mobile or Android. Where is the inovative spirit of Apple? Perhaps it passed away with Steve. I am so, so sorry!
