I believe we were all under the impression that ios7 would work before all of us updated. At least ios 6 was working correctly

Seems like a dictatorship. People here are just trying to offer solid advice in hopes of getting their phones working properly. I understand there are forum rules, but honestly there are very few alternatives to be heard. Why should it matter what material is posted. If it doesn't pertain to you then move on, simple as that!

    Agreed

My question is why get upset over whats posted! Do you own the forum? If the post doesn't pertain to you then simply move on, as easy as that!

It's not a dictatorship. It's private property. Just as you have the right to tell someone at your dinner table to shut up if they are saying things you don't like, Apple has the right to determine who gets to say what on their forum. You agreed to those rules when you signed up.

If you prefer a less heavily moderated, non-Apple owned forum, there are lots of the out there.

    Best of luck.

Do you work for Apple ??? LOLLLLLLLLLL

There are very few Apple employees here. They can be identified by their avatars, purple apples for the Hosts, black ones for the Community Support Specialists.

And I didn't remove your posts. Only the Hosts can do that. Apparently, they decided they contravened the TOU.

Fully support! I created a similar topic here.. How do we, unhappy users, unite and get Apple to hear us?? I love the iPhone but I hate the new children's design interface iOS 7! I want to see on my phone neat classic Apple-interface — this, which has been in iOS 6!

I totally agree with the TOU. I just don't agree Apple's Hosts remove my post simply because I told others to share an image in Facebook as protest against Apple's latest iOS release. It doesn't seem to me that broke any rule.

And, as mentioned here, that I am posting subjects of jailbreaking: PROVE IT ...

IOS 7 is the latest garbage from Apple, just like their new foot activiated garbage can (macpro) that's set to come out. I've been using apple for at least 15 years and it seems like the only people they listen to are their bank managers.

The Ipod saved their skin once, if they are not carefull they will quickly put themselves in that position again, just ask blackberry.

They will never "get it", in their own minds they are too big to fail... Rome thought that too at some point.

Jailbreaking is not the only reason posts are removed. You may want to review the TOU:

    https://discussions.apple.com/static/apple/tutorial/tou.html

    Especially Sectcion 5, subsection 3:

    5.      Breach of the Agreement

      1. If you fail to abide by these terms Apple may remove your submission. Apple may also send an email that informs you that your Submission has been deleted or edited. Repeated inappropriate Submissions may result in your relevant account or accounts being placed into temporary or permanent suspension of your ability to participate in any or all of the areas on the Site.
      2. If you post or send offensive or inappropriate content anywhere on or to the Site or otherwise engage in any disruptive behavior which Apple considers to be serious and/or repeated, Apple may use all available information about you to stop any further infringements. This may include informing relevant third parties such as your employer, school, Internet service provider, or law enforcement authorities of the infringement.
      3. Apple reserves the right to delete any Submission, or take action against any account, at any time, for any reason.

The new interface looks like someone just took a " design your own website" class.  There is no aesthetic here at all.  Did someone's mom make these choices? Or worse ... A committee?

No voice here at all. No personality. Stepford Ghastly.

Yes, I can get used to the look but not one said that it would casue a MAJOR delay in typing on email and messages - this is not acceptable to me.

I have had posts removed that did NOT break any of the rules.  Apparently, if the word lawsuit appears in a post, it gets deleted.  Anything suggesting contacting the media-deleted.  Basically anything suggesting getting help outside Apple, whose support staff do not seem to care that ios7 makes Apple devices useless to people with visual difficulties gets deleted!  Many people have sent feedback about the super skinny font and poor contrast issues and not only has Apple not fixed the problems, they aren't even acknowledging there are problems!  Steve Jobs would never have allowed this travesty get to the testing phase, let alone released as an update.
