After lasted apple update ipad will no longer lock home screen no longer have padlock on bottom of home screen

Please help after latest update on ipad 4 ,screen will no longer stay locked in landscape logo on bottom of screen is no longer there,have gone into settings ,General turned on lock rotation but still does not working also have done a reboot ,but no good please help.
