How do I disable switch control for iOS7?

I turned it on and i can't get it off. Those blue boxes don't show up and when i triple click home it gives me two options of inverted colors and switch control with a checkmark next to it. Touchscreen is completely unresponsive and I'm stumped 😐

Thanks for going through some trouble trying to help me but I just realized I didn't state my entire scenario.

My phone is locked and I'm unable to unlock it. The only way of using my phone is through Switch Control, which I turned on prior to locking my phone. So my phone is in the lock screen and I can't use the touchscreen because Switch Control is on, however; I can't use it to do anything because I didn't set any switches. I'm basically stuck on the lock screen and all I can do at the moment is turn the screen on/off via the button at the top of the phone and triple click the home button which shows a little menu with two options: Invert Colors and Switch Control, but I can't press anything using the screen because it got disabled with Switch Control being turned on and am stuck pressing these two buttons, the home button and lock button.

Mark,

Did you do a backup before installing iOS 7? If so here is what I'd suggest, get your iPhone connected to your computer and iTunes, select your iPhone and choose the Restore option where the update section is rather than the second section below, sorry can't think of exact wording, but it's directly to the right of the 'Check for update" button.

This should bascially put your phone back to factory settings, once completed just give it a try to make sure all is well - in fact while you're going through the intro process it'll ask if you want to setup as new iPhone or retrieve from a Backup if you want to restore from a backup straight away you can do this from here.

If you didn't backup right before installing iOS and you do carry out the process above then you will lose data that wasn't backed up since your last backup was completed.

Hope all goes well.

There is an easyer way to this. Switch control and Voice over can not both be on at the same time.So here are the steps on how to turn it off.

1. Go on siri (hold down home button)

2. Tell it to turn on voice over. (You can not tell it to turn off switch control)

3. Then Voice over will activate and Switch control will turn off. Now go back to siri and tell it to turn off Voice over.

Now that should have salved your problem.

Regarts,

Cleve

If you have siri locked there is another way.

This is an easier way. You do not have to set to factory defaults. By: Cleve
