My iPad is only two weeks old, but now it is completely dead. It won't respond at all even after I've plugged it in to an electrical source. It still had 60+% on the battery when I went to bed. This morning, nothing.

I assumed that some function was continuing even after I went to bed. I had been viewing something on YouTube and was going to finish it today, so I just closed the cover. When I got up this morning I got absolutely nothing on the screen.I plugged it in to an electrical source about 30 minutes ago, but still no response. Since I'm new to iPad is this an ios7 upgrade issue?

Reset iPad

Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
