iOS 7 Charge 100% issue

In iOS 7 they got rid of that icon. When it hits 100% it is now fully charged. It only takes a few minutes to go from 100% to that full charge capacity you recognize in iOS 6. Performance is minimal and batteries are better off unplugged when they are fully charged.

Same issue for me with my iPhone 5. In iTunes 11.1 it's ok but not on my device.

The charging indicator beside the battery icon should just stop blinking. @,@

This is not true. All Apple devices regulate the charging... they will stop charging once the device is fully charged. You can leave them plugged in as long as you like with no damage whatsoever.

It is not blinking even while charging, you might want to reconsider that..

Leaving the phone plugged in after the battery has been fully charged does not harm the phone or the battery. The charging circuit stops charging the battery when it is fully charged.

That's why Apple Remove Fully Charged icon? So we can Plug in or Plug out whatever we want and didnt need waiting until 100%?

You have always been able to charge the phone whenever you wanted. You never needed to wait until 100%.

Apple has not said why they changed this.

In fact, you can charge the vast majority of consumer devices whenever you want for as long as you want.

Leave your phone plugged in for a week and then come back here and say "you can charge the vast majority of consumer devices whenever you want for as long as you want". If that were true, the devcies would not be hot the entire time they are plugged in. Next, people will say heat does not degrade electronic circuit boards.

While it is completely safe to leave things plugged in, it does not beenfit your device in anyway. It's 2013, most people know that electronics biggest threat to longevity is heat. Charge it, and disconnect the charging source. The amount of disinformation in here is incredible.

I leave my 4S plugged in every night for at least 8 hours and much of the day and it never gets hot. Same with the other three 4S's and the iPad2 in my house. Sometimes my iPad stays plugged in for days at a time. It also never gets hot. Same with my laptops and my bluetooth headphones.

If yours gets hot, then you have other issues. You're right... The amount of disinformation in here is incredible.

There is something about batteries and the idea of "killing" apps that are "running in the background" that just brings out the disinformation. Ah, well.

So i noticed this too on my iPhone 5s and heres what happened after left plugged in for a while after the 100% and charge sign was still there...

Please note, the charger is still plugged in and this is whats showing!!! As you will also see the charge bar s no longer green but white!
