Why can't I access the playlist button when adding songs to a playlist?

How about an "If it's not broke don't fix I button". Who the heck uses composers anyway???? Hey "Suits" If you worked for me I'd've already fired you for not giving us an option button in settings to keep WiFi on in sleep mode and we wouldn't have this issue. baaaaaaaaaaad idea

I am furious and incensed!!!!! ALL of my playlist have disappeared. I've read the string and clearly Apple has not addressed this. What on earth gives? I spent hour upon hour building those playlist. does anybody know how to recover them? Thanks.

What's the solution? How did you fix the problem of not being able to add to a current play list by from another playlist?

This is a dealbreaker for me. I make a new playlist once or twice a week for playing at tailgates and kickball games; I ALWAYS build them from existing playlists. I have several playlists set up - some with slower songs, faster songs, songs to get people dancing, etc., and I change up the playlist as the party progresses. I NEED to be able to access those playlists! This is completely unacceptable. And COMPOSERS instead?! Ugh. For now, I have to use my old iPod that's still on iOS 6. Between this and the album covers next to playlist names and song names, taking up room that should be made available to see more text, I absolutely HATE the new Music app in iOS 7!

I even tried to search for my playlists (when I was trying to make a playlist off of another playlist) in the search tab... nothing... Apple needs to stop removing features and start removing bugs and limitations.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Funny, things just looked a little different and I didn't even see the plus sign... this totally helped. Just got to add songs to my playlist much like before.

The updated Music app seems riddled with visual bugs and annoyances, and syncing with iTunes has become flaky at best, but this removal of the ability to create playlists from playlists might be the biggest annoyance of the lot. It doesn't seem a huge stretch that I might want to create a new playlist containing tracks selected from my Best Rated playlist, or my Recently Added playlist - I've been quite happily doing exactly that for the past decade, back as far as my first click-wheel iPod.

Surely this is an over-sight that'll be rectified, rather than a design decision - especially when the useless 'Composers' listing is offered as a playlist construction option?

No, as of today Oct 23rd with the latest iOS 7 update 7.0.3 this problem has not been sovled. Please make sure you go to feedback and let Apple know we'd like this feature back. I've done it as well.

As other posters have stated. You should also voice your concerns through Apple feedback.

But it's still not working. (I knew I will have to wait until ios 7.1 or 8 to have this bug fixed).

I found a music player: Ecout. But I don't know if there is sync with iTunes, star rating support, playlist sync.. Does someone know if it support that? Thanks. It could be a good alternative to the build-in music player as it doesn't work properly.

I'm having this same problem and adding this comment in the hope that it will encourage Apple to fix this problem faster. I need that ability to build playlists from playlists and can't believe they just inadvertently eliminated it
