Crashing of Outlook after recent update. Only way to successfully start Outlook was to disable the iCloud Outlook add-in. Tried uninstalling the control panel and reinstalling but with no improvement. Seems to be a bug. Any ideas???
Meant to say that it was the update to version 3.0 that caused the problem.
Solved the problem. Problem originally started by upgrading from version 2 to version 3.0 via Apple Software Update. Was finally able to download version 3.0 from the Apple support site. Uninstalled and reinstalled from the download and all good.
I could not install iCloud 3 at all, follwed your advice and downloaded iCloud 3 from the source. This time the installation worked fine. Outlloks opens without problems, Contacts can be accessed but when I try to reach Calendar, Outlook crashes...
any idea ?
As painful as it is, you may have to uninstall and reinstall the iCloud control panel.
Make sure you do a restart after uninstalling.

I already did uninstall and reinstall with a restart in the between but no chance. Outlook still crashes when clicking on the Calendar.
I tried to reinstall the old version and could not finish the setup. Tried with the latest one and this time could not finish the set up as well !!! 😠
Now I have no iCloud installed and my Calendar is still crashing !
So no way to sync and no way to manage my calendar through the PC
I KNEW I should not update... never update to a .0 version... always wait for .1 :-)
I am having the very same issue on my home PC. I will not upgrade on my work PCs until I find a solution!
