Move to trash - Key board shortcut?

Is there a keyboard shortcut to move files to the trash? or is there a way of creating one?

Hi, just select the files/folders and press the Apple key + Backspace to move them into the Trash.

Just choose the file and command-delete.

Magical Macintosh Key Sequences, by Dave Polaschek contains the trash command as well as a list of many other useful keyboard shortcuts.
